Zarah stepped out on to the grassy ground. She immediately looked up at the dome like ceiling, it was completely made of leaves and hanging vines. The whole opening was a little secret jungle cove.

"like what you see? " Riley asked.

"-And im not talking about my legs." She joked.

Only then did Zarah see Rileys legs. She was wearing dirt stained shorts that had pre-made holes, that were mostly real rips now. Rileys bare legs were covered in scars and a few fresh scabs. When Zarah saw the look on Rileys face she drew her attention back to the cove.

"How did you do this? " Zarah asked in awe.

"It's a secret." Riley replied with a mysterious smirk.

"You actually live here?" Zarah asked, noticing that there was no furniture.

"Hell no. Im too good for that." she said laughing.

The cove walls were made of branches bent to a dome shape, with leaves and other flora on top concealing the cracks. A beautiful almost blue-ish green glow lit the interior. Zarah doubted that you could see in from the outside.

"Are you done marveling over my fabulous entrance yet? " Riley asked.

"Uh, yeah,  I guess." she replied only then stopping her pacing around the elaborate but empty room.

"Then follow 'mwah'" She said bowing before pulling back a large bunch of vines revealing an arched opening in the walls.

It opened to a small circular room with a thick tree in the middle. The tree had short wood planks nailed to it as a ladder. About seven feet above the ground was the ceiling that curved into a wooden trapdoor around the tree.

"C'mon, its a long climb." Riley said starting up the ladder.

How fucking great, Zarah thought. The already exhausted girl began climbing.

At the top of the good 300 feet climb Zarah was more than happy to get inside. Her arms and legs ached with pain, she had never climbed this much in her life. Actually she had never done this much exercise all at once. But it wasn't over.

"Where is the door?" Zarah asked still clinging to the ladder.

"See that branch?"

"Yeah."

"Jump onto it."

Zarah looked in horror at the branch, it was about three feet away. It looked about four feet in diameter, about a third of the actual trunk of the unnaturaly large tree.

"What are you waiting for? Im fucking hungry dude." Riley said from below.

Zarah reached her arm to the branch. It was definitely not in her arm span. She decided to climb up the last steps on the ladder and use the bark to hold onto. The branch was now a few inches below her feet. This time she wasnt going to close her eyes. She jumped directly onto the tree limb and stumbled the slighted but found her balance .

"Congrats." Riley said.
"Now turn around."

Zarah followed her command, she saw that there were thinner  branches spiraling around the trees like a staircase.

She slowly crept up the ratherunstable looking branches. They were surprisingly sturdy. The stair way went up for a bit. It all seemed like way too much trouble just to get in and out of a house. Finally a door.

It was a grand double door in the large tree. Zarah opened it and stepped inside to the completely open tree top. It was a large flat space where the tree limbs branched out, the branches provided a small gate like feature around the perimeter. The only walls were leaves, even though walls way up here are completely unnecessary. The blue sky shone through in various places. It was magnificent.
