"Retrograde Amnesia: one of the main four types of amnesia. This condition means the patient has lost the ability to recall events that occurred before the onset of amnesia. The TBI he has  severe head concussion - one of the four types of Traumatic Brain Injury or TBI. The cause of his severe head concussion was a hard object inflicted directly on his head.

There might be other effects of the condition he is experiencing right now such as cognitive deficits, motor deficits, perceptual or sensory deficits, communicative and language deficits, social difficulties, and regulatory disturbances. For now, he is under observation."

Those words from the doctor who told us and elaborated on Lucas' medical condition were clearly resonating in my mind repeatedly. I was lying on my bed with my dejected //sad// spirit while staring blankly at the white ceiling. Also, I was still wearing my uniform as I do not have the energy to change.

I was listening on repeat to Lauv's song 'Never Not' on my earphones plugged in my both ears; his song was such a mood, especially now.

While staring emptily at the ceiling, I heard the creaking sounds from the door. I immediately shifted my vision directly to it; I saw Belka entered my room. She was sauntering directly to me and she laid down beside me.

"Sister, it's 8:00 p.m. already. We do not have any side dishes for our rice this evening." She said.

"O-oh about that? Just fetch some canned goods inside the pantry //a room for goods.// Those will just serve as our side dishes tonight." I instructed her. "S-sorry if I ain't okay for now. Promise, I'll be tomorrow." I apologized.

"No need to apologize, sister. All your emotions are valid even I don't know what is the root why you're feeling this way right now." She consoled me soulfully then, she hugged me later on.

I hugged her back whilst my tears were slowly dripping on my face. I forthwith //immediately// wiped my tears using my left arm while hugging her. Even our parents were not around, I was lucky to have my fraternal siblings - Josiah and Belka. After that, she left my room due she cannot resist her hunger anymore.
