It was Sunday night, around 10:30 pm. It was four days now after the consecutive mortifying days. I was reviewing my knowledge for the upcoming mid-term examination tomorrow. I was currently reading my Constitutional Law I book when I suddenly yawned while reading it.

Frankly, I could not handle my sleepiness anymore. So, I decided to close all the books on my study table and set aside them neatly. After that, I stood up from my seat and turned towards my closet.

I sauntered to it and slammed it open. After that, I saw the cloak I took from Lucas hanging there. Honestly - Josiah was right. This cloak was too ravishing to be cheap!

I took it from the closet and wore it. Later, I closed it and walked in front of the mirror to glance myself while wearing it. I forwarded my right hand like in the superhero movies towards the mirror.

I was really terrified by what I witnessed next! The bedsheet suddenly floated in the air towards the mirror - covering it. I immediately rested my right hand on my waist and I covered my mouth with my left hand. After that, the bedsheet descended on its own; unveiling the mirror.

"Oh my Gosh!"

Since it was the day for the Mid-Term examination, I need to wake up early. But guess what - I just awakened at 6:30 am! I felt victorious much as I won a prestigious prize though. I got up in a hurry after that.

I ignored glancing now on the mirror as I already knew myself what I look like during early mornings: disheveled hair, droopy eye bags, reddish eyes - no drools for now!

I strolled my way towards the kitchen. While strolling, I heard the clanking sounds and the pleasing aroma coming from it. Later, I saw Belka cooking for the breakfast. She was four years younger but, it was undeniable she was a better cook.

"Oh, good morning, Belka!" I greeted her while she was before the stove, cooking something. "What's for the breakfast, young lady?" I asked her like a nobility.

"Oh, milady," she greeted me too like a nobility. "For today's breakfast, we will have Shakshuka."

For those who do not know Shakshuka, it is a Maghrebi dish consisting of poached eggs in a spicy sauce of tomatoes, olive oil, onion, and garlic. It is commonly spiced with cumin, paprika, cayenne pepper (hot chili pepper 🌶️), and nutmeg.
