A Persona?

"A Mizutsune?" Bloom asked, confused.

"Yup, a Mizutsune." Mizu replied. Bloom and Jerry looked at each other confused. Mizu tilted her head, confused.

"So, why are you a fictional character, or a monster, in here?" Bloom asked.

"You mean a palace?" Mizu asked.

"Yes- wait, palace?"

"Yeah, that's what this place is called, a palace. I suppose you met its ruler, too?" Mizu asked.

"Ruler? You mean the stationery?"

"No, no, you dummy! The ruler of this palace!"

"Tinker?" Jerry asked.

"Yup, that's right!" Mizu said. She then looked at Bloom, finally noticing the mask. She then moved her towards him until her face was close to Bloom's face.

"I see you've awakened your persona?" Mizu asked.

"Persona?"

"Yes, need me to demonstrate?"

"Uh....sure?" Bloom said. Mizu smiled and lifted her right claw and ripped her mask off and the same thing that happened to Bloom happened to Mizu but a different persona appeared. It was a black, tall dog with blue crystal armour. Its pastel blue eyes stared at Bloom and Jerry.

"Oh. It looks....rather different from Blo-."

"Hey, don't say his real name!" Mizu yelled.

"Why?" Jerry asked, confused.

"It might affect the palace! Not to mention that maybe the distorted heart of Tinker might know who entered their palace!" Mizu lectured, as the persona disappeared and her mask went back onto her face.

"Well then, why did you say your name? Not to mention your actual name?" Bloom asked, even more confused.

"Whose name starts with a Mizu?" She asked.

"....."

"Yeah, nobody! So you might want to think of a code name soon! Maybe next time but seriously, don't say your actual name!" Mizu said.

"Alright. Though my bud here doesn't have a persona soo.."

"Eh, don't say anything bout his name. Until you figured out a code name, don't. Just, don't." Mizu said.

"Well, how do we get out of here?" Bloom asked.

"Hmm, you'd have to go back to the entrance." Mizu said.

"No, I meant this dump of....rotting corpses and..whatever the heck else is here."

"Ah, I know a way."

"Well, why didn't you go out then?"

"There's a lot of shadow activity going on there, so I wasn't able to."

"Ah...wait, shadows?"

"The ones which look horribly disfigured and have masks?"

"Oh. Those things."

"Yes, they're our obstacles in this palace. However, I think you two should exit first. You two might have been overwhelmed by what I could tell with your friend here." Mizu said as she looked at the injuries on Jerry.

"Ah, right. Gosh, I still feel pain." Jerry said.

"Hmm, can you walk?"

"A limp, that's all."

"Ah, well considering how fast we are, I don't think you'd be able to catch up due to your limp.." Mizu said, thinking.

"Well, what should I do, then?" Jerry asked, slightly wincing at the pain. Mizu sighed before crouching down slightly. Jerry raised his eyebrow, confused.

"Get on my back, I'll carry you to the exit." Mizu said. Jerry just, hesitantly and reluctantly climbs on.

"Okay, so I want you to hold on tight." Mizu said. Before Jerry could say anything, Mizu ran at a very fast rate. Bloom ran to Mizu to try and catch up to her before realising they are running at the same speed.

"What the?!"

"Surprised, innit?" Mizu asked. They kept on running until they saw some stairs.

"There's the stairs." Mizu said as they ran up the stairs. It slowly transitioned from a grey and stone-y texture to a marble white.

"WHY THE HECK ARE THERE SO MANY STEPS?!" Bloom yelled before being shushed by Mizu.

"Shhhhh! You might attract some shadows." Mizu whispered in a hushed tone. Footsteps were heard other than theirs and some shadows appeared at the top of the stairs.

"God darn it, you attracted some!" Mizu yelled.

"Woops." Bloom said.

"I have a question, do you have a gun?"

"No, why the heck would I have one?" Bloom said. Mizu sighs and just searches through her bandana. She then took out something and threw it at Bloom, almost hitting him in the face. He then looked at what was thrown and it was a model uzi gun. Bloom wheezes.

"What's so funny?"

"A MODEL GUN?!" He continued to wheeze. "How am I gonna kill those with a model gun!?" He then laughs. Jerry was suppressing his laughter.

"....Go on, shoot them."

"Yeah, yeah, like this thing is gonna shoot." He then aimed the gun at one of them and bullets were shot, killing a shadow and freaking Bloom out.

"Told ya." Mizu said with a smug face. Bloom literally looks confused and shocked.

"What-."

"Hey, stop talking, we have shadows to kill!" Mizu said as her claws protract.

"I think you might need to get off." Bloom told Jerry

"I know, don't need to tell me." Jerry said as he got off of Mizu. The shadows transformed into whatever the heck it would be in Tinker's palace.

"Right, ready?" Mizu asked. Bloom nodded before they fought the shadows. Jerry just watches from the sidelines, listening to a song that's not even playing {Last Surprise}. After much time though, they defeated the shadows.

"Oh gosh, I need a break from those shadows." Bloom said, panting.

"It happens. Anyways let's just get you two out of here." Mizu said. Jerry then went to get back onto Mizu's back and they went up the stairs to find the receptionist area.
