I awoke with a searing pain in my head as my thoughts began to replay last night's events. I made my way towards the bathroom. After taking shower, I put on a black dress with white full sleeve top underneath.
Before going in the kitchen, I peeked through the door if that asshole was there. No one was there, maybe he's still in his room or went to the office. I poured coffee and put Nutella on toasted bread. When I saw Travis coming downstairs, I dashed to my room with my coffee and bread. Because I wanted to eat breakfast alone, and after yesterday's incident, I intended to avoid him as much as possible.Just I was about to take the first bite, he knocked the door and yelled "Tiara! open the door"
I chose not to say anything since I figured he'd just leave. But I was mistaken. He raised his voice "I said open the door! I need to talk to you"
"I don't want to talk to you" I responded softly.
And then he walked away. I started sipping my coffee and then the door of my room shoots open. My eyes met Travis's eyes who was looking absolutely murderous.
My eyes widened to see Travis "How did he get in here?" I whispered to myself. He came towards me and grabbed the coffee mug and flung it on the floor, breaking it and spilling the coffee on floor and my legs. I shielded my ears with my hands from the sounds of the shattered cup.
He grabbed my wrist and tossed me to the ground on smashed coffee mug fragments. One coffee mug splinter penetrated my knee, causing me to gasp in pain. The blood began to ooze from the wound.
"How dare you disobey me!" he said through his greeted teeth.
He sat on the floor next to me, gripped my jaw roughly, and blurted, "Make sure not to irritate me or else there will be repercussions. YOU UNDERSTAND?" He raised his brow wanting an answer.
Because no words came out of my lips, I responded with a nod. Then his eyes landed on my knee, I saw his eyes softening. He let off of my jaw and stood up.
"I will pick you up from college at 5 p.m. precisely. You need to accompany me somewhere." He remarked as he exited my room, slamming the door behind him.
I noticed coffee stains on my dress so I decided to change it. I looked at the time, 8:30 am., and realized I was running late. I ran into the closet and put on the first thing that came to my hand, a wrap polka dot dress.
I took the bus to college. My knee was in bad shape, so I went to the nurse's office to get a band-aid before heading to class. I finished my classes about 2 p.m., so I got a sub to eat since I was starving. Before Travis arrived to pick me up, I began working on my assignments at the campus library.
It was 4:50 p.m., I had finished my projects, and had chosen to wait for Travis outside the college main entrance. He was already standing by his car, speaking on the phone and kind of smiling.
