James's bloody hands grip the steering wheel hard, his muscles tensing under his brown skin, letting his veins break. I watch the wild breathings, controlling his chest, up and down, up and down. His eyes are filled with anger as he stares at the empty road, watching the headlights shine on the dark asphalt. I turn my head to the side, not giving him my attention. I lean my head against the window, letting my hand run through my hair as I try to calm my high pulse. I take a deep breath, letting out a breath I didn't know I was holding.

"Why were you there?" I ask, letting the words leave my dry mouth as I feel the anger blossom under my skin once again. James ignores me, keeping his angry eyes on the road, fueling my anger. I feel the chills run down my spine as my mind reminds me of James intimidating eyes, looking like he was ready to kill Alex and me immediately.

"Cameron was supposed to be there, not you," I question, not giving a damn about his anger. I watch as his breathing increase before letting the car speed up. I get pressed down in my seat as the vehicle accelerates violently. "Where is he?" I ask again harshly. James' grip tightens around the steering wheel, not letting any blood run through his veins, making his blood-covered hands turn white.

"Answer me!" I order, feeling my heart hammer against my chest as my voice raises, almost resonating in the mute car. My breathings are ragged as I look up at James, but he isn't looking at me, keeping his hard green eyes on the road. "Answer me." I hiss out through my clenched teeth, wanting to know what the hell was so damn important that he had to risk the mission, risk my life.

"Shut up," He growls back at me, letting his dark, rough voice spread goosebumps all over my body. I breathe in a shaking breath, trying to control my temper, but fails miserably. "Answer me!" I scream at him, ignoring him completely. He stamps down at the breaks with all his power making the car stop brutally hard. I fly forward in the car, feeling the pain spread in my body as my head smashes into the window at my side.

"Shut the fuck up!" He yells and slams his hands against the steering wheel to punctuate his point, making me flinch. I feel my head get groggy as I put my hand against my throbbing forehead. I look up to see the car being completely still, not moving an inch on the empty road. I don't say a word as I look at his brutal but beautiful features, but his eyes aren't on me. My heart is beating fast as I lean my head back, closing my eyes, feeling nausea appear. The car is silent. The only thing being heard is our hard breathing.

"Put this on," James demands hard and throws a long piece of fabric into my lap. I look up at him confused, about to say something as I look into his deep dark green eyes, daring me to speak up, daring me to challenge him. I close my mouth, pressing my lips into a thin line, removing my angry blue eyes from his green. I pick up the black fabric tying it around my head, removing my vision. I let it sit loosely over my eyes, wanting to see the road to the house, knowing it could be helpful in an escape plan.

I feel the frustration evident in my body as I feel his hand unlocking my seat belt, pulling me towards him. He tightens the fabric around my head, making it impossible for me to see anything. In the darkness, I let my hands go to the material, trying to loosen it, but before I can touch it, James grips my hands hard, allowing his rough hands to tighten around my wrist. I take in a sharp breath, feeling the shock in my body as I try to pull my hands away from him, but he is way stronger than me. I bite the inside of my cheek, keeping myself from screaming at him, as he tightens a cable tie around my hands, holding them tightly together behind my back. The anger pulsates under my skin when I feel his hot breath on my skin, sending goosebumps all over my body. He puts on my seatbelt before turning on the car, starting to drive again. I take a deep breath and lean my body towards the window, trying to get a little more comfortable as the car speeds up.

After a while, I suffer the loss of all sense of time and place, feeling useless. I close my eyes and try to relax, letting my thoughts carry me away. I gasp quietly when I feel the cold night breeze on my skin as James rolls down his window. I sit up straight and feel the car stop slowly, listening to the muffled voices surrounding me. The car drives slowly forward, and I listen carefully as a big fence opens. I feel James grip my hands, letting the cold metal run between them, cutting off the zip tie.

"Step out of the car and stay where you are." James' voice is cold, sending shivers down my spine. "If you try to run, I will shoot you." He unties the fabric, letting my vision return. I don't look at him but step out of the car, slamming the door shut behind me.
