I'm trying not to think about it

Push it to the back of my brain

But I hear it screaming shouting

I can't even think of my own name

My bedroom is cold as I sit at my desk, trying to get some homework done, fighting to keep my eyes open. I stretch my back and stand up straight before walking out of my bedroom. I walk toward the door on the opposite side of the hallway. I knock on Austin's door, bored, waiting for him to answer, but silence is the only thing to be heard. I open the door carefully, not wanting to wake him up if he is sleeping. I walk into his empty room, looking confused around at a loud scream sound. I turn around immediately, trying to locate the voice.

"No. No. DON'T FUCKING TOUCH ME!!" I run down the stairs to see Austin fighting with two of Father's men. I hear the pain in his voice as they punch him in the face. The panic takes over my body as I go into survival instinct.

"Don't touch him" I scream and run against them, trying to pull them of Austin who is laying on the floor trying to protect himself. One of the men turns against me, pushing me to the ground. I quickly get to my feet, trying to remember everything Austin has taught me. I wait for him to take a swipe at me. I duck under his arm and punch him in his big beer belly. He walks a few steps back and I kick him with all my force in the groin making him fall to the floor, screaming in pain. I run towards Austin, who is lying unconscious on the floor. I shake his shoulders, but he doesn't respond.

"Wake up please" I feel the tears in my eyes as my heart is beating full power. I feel two arms wrap around my waist, ripping me off Austin's body.

"No, please. Leave me alone!" I scream, crying. I kick my legs out in the air, trying to hit him, but it doesn't work. I try to punch him, but he doesn't let go. He holds me steady as two new come in the room and pick up his unconscious body.

"Leave him alone, you' bastards" My cries muffle my words, as I keep on fighting to get out of his tight grip, but the unknown man holds me tight in the air preventing me from touching the floor. The man I kicked stands up and walks towards me.

"Don't touch me!" I scream furiously, panicked, and try to kick him, but he catches my legs holding them still. I feel the buzzing in my head as his fist hits my chin. I cry out in pain, closing my eyes. I feel the man start walking, and I already know where he is headed.

"No. No. Please," I beg and cry, trying to breathe through my mouth. I try to get my breath, but the fear is taking over my body.

"Leave me alone!" I scream. I try to grab onto the doorframe, but my fingers are slipping on the ice-cold metal. He throws me down on the metal chair and tries to get close to me, but I kick him in the stomach and stand up from the chair, and try to run, but he is quick to grab me.

"Let go of me!" I scream and try to wriggle me loose from his grip, but it's impossible. He places me in the chair, tying me to the cold metal chair. "Don't touch me, ASSHOLE!" the words leave my mouth too fast for me to think It over. I feel him slap me across the face, making sure to leave a red handprint. I ignore the sting and try to get my hands loose, but he tightens the ropes.

"What did you just call me, you little bitch!" He growls violently, looking down at me with furious, cruel eyes. I spit him in the face, making his face go dark as he punches me in the cheek, before smiling mockingly.

"Don't touch me!" I yell and feel the tears in my eyes as he starts to tie my feet to the chair. I try to kick him, but nothing works. "Help," I cry. "Somebody, please help me!" My voice cracks and echoes in the heartless, cold room. "Please. Let me go" I scream, crying, feeling the ropes burn into my skin. Making the blood circulation stop. My cries get louder as I hear Austin's painful scream from the other side of the wall.

I sit up straight, my eyes still wide. I feel the sweat all over my body. I dry my eyes trying to hold on to reality, but I can't get Austin's painful screams out of my head. My heart aches and the tears are pressing against my eyes, but I hold it in. I walk into the bathroom and splash some water in my face, trying to shut his screams out. I walk out into the Livingroom and sit down on the windowsill pulling a carpet over my curled-up body. I stare into the night, seeing nothing but Austin's unconscious, bloody face.
