"I can't believe he'll say something like that to me" I take a bite of my donut.
The sweetness exploding in my mouth.
"That is the most Netflix romance ever" Kate sigh dreamily, taking a bite of her own donut.
"Romance? I don't think so" I roll my eyes as I think about what she's saying. I don't have time for romance. Never will.
"I know you like him munchkin. Only a matter of time before you two get married" she shrugs and bat her lashes at me with a coy smile.
"What on earth are you talking about? I hate him" I frown at her ridiculous accusations.
"That's what they all say" she pats my shoulder "but I love a good enemies to lovers so carry on" she takes a long sip off her juice cup.
"What? Never mind ...I have to finish this sketch" I take my sketch book and continue where I left off before this conversation started.
"I haven't even started" Kate groans as she shoves the remaining half of her donut in her mouth.
I glare at her "what?.....I'll do it tomorrow it's not like I have anything else to do"
"Right..." I say without looking up from my book.
I did a detailed sketch of what I have to paint and by the time I was done, Kate was already asleep. I switch off the lights and fell asleep immediately.

I overslept! It's 8:20 am!
I took a quick shower. I didn't even wash my hair cause that'll take 30 minutes to take care of. I wore a white turtleneck and a baby pink suit and tied my hair in a low bun. I took my car cause I'm too late to find a cab.
