Natalie couldn't believe her day. She messaged Rafe before she even started the car that she would. She thought this summer would be interesting. But not this way. She parked her car outside the sheriff's department as she walked in.

'I'm here to see JJ Maybank.' She explained to the receptionist. She nodded as she passed her a sticky note saying visitor and a pen and pad to fill a form in. As she did she said she can walk straight through.

'When will I be able to bail?' She asked curiously. She's never had to do this. She normally waits for him to come out. But because this is more of a crime than past situations. She didn't have one clue what to do.

'His court day is tomorrow as you can bail after 3-10 hours of being in custody. As soon as the judge files the bail money or date the inmate comes out. You can bail them out straight after a court trial.' The woman explained to Natalie. She smiled happily knowing JJ would be out as soon as possible. She muttered a quick thanks as she headed to the visitor's area. As she walked in she saw JJ sat down.

'Missed me already Princess?' JJ chuckled out earning a scoff from the girl. She explained that he'll be out tomorrow after court so he didn't have to worry. He nodded before he spoke.

'Sheriff Peterkins showed me those two men are dead. Told us to back off from the royal merchant to keep us safe. ' He muttered making Natalie widen her eyes. Another Sheriff came in saying the 10 minutes were up.

'You best tell John B.' She spoke as she got up and said bye. She then went outside putting her sticker in the bin as she headed down the stairs to the car park. She sees Rafe leaning on her car. She smiled seeing her best friend as she went to hug him.

'You okay?' He whispered as she looked up and nodded a sweet yes. She unlocked the car as she got in the passenger side knowing Rafe would want to drive her home.

'Midsummer's festival tomorrow. I want to take you.' Rafe told the girl as she looked at him. Rafe started the car as they entered the driveway.

'Is Rafe Cameron asking me to be his date?' She smirked as Rafe chuckled. He parked the car as Natalie swung her legs into Rafe's lap inside the car. They didn't want to leave the car yet.

'So what if I am Miss Thornton.' Rafe spoke up as he stared at her.

'Will you go with me?' He asked. Natalie looked up at him into his icy blue eyes. She wants to go with him deeply.

'Yes, I will.' She replied as Rafe's grinned widely. He acted like a giddy child as he shouted in the car. Natalie crackled at his actions. It quieted down as they spent their time in silence.

'Rafe.' Was all Natalie said earning a hum from him.

'You know the night you slept. When we watched a movie...' Natalie started. Rafe looked at her wondering where this was going.

'We went in the hot tube, didn't we? We drank and I remember what happened that night Rafe.' Natalie admitted. Rafe went tense. He thought she didn't remember at all. He whipped his head at her as his eyes softened.

'Natalie I don't know what to say.' Rafe laughed out nervously. This was the part that would hurt.

'We were drinking and I was holding you as-' Rafe was cut off by Natalie climbing over to the driver's side.

Gaining confidence, Natalie sat on top of him straddling him. Natalie looked at him as he looked up. They didn't say a word. She pressed her lips against Rafe's it wasn't gentle as it felt needy and rough.

Rafe places his hands on Natalie's waist as he pulled her closer. Rafe was searching for dominance as he made the girl grind against his crotch. Natalie gasped at his action feeling his erection. When Natalie gasped, Rafe slid his tongue inside her sweet little mouth. Natalie had her hands in Rafe's hair ruffling it. Natalie pulled back for air as she looked at him. She didn't know what came over her.

'I'm sorry.' She breathed out as she got out of her car. Rafe was telling the girl to wait as he got out of her car and locked it. Natalie ran up to her room locking the door before Rafe could even enter the house.

'What's up with Nat?' Topper questioned Rafe curiously.

'I- I don't know man.' Rafe lied to Topper as he placed her car keys on the side. Rafe couldn't even process what happened in the car. He kissed Natalie. The girl he's been in love with for so long.

Natalie woke up early to go to court. She couldn't believe it cost her $6,000 to get JJ out for a felony. She scoffed as JJ walked towards her in the same clothes he wore yesterday. He got in her car to drive home. As Natalie parked near his house not wanting to see JJ's father.

'Thank you so much Nat seriously.' JJ thanked her again for the tenth time. As her reply has always been the same. It's nothing as he was her friend.

'J..' She spoke as JJ got out of the car. He walked over to the driver's side as her window was open.

'What's up?' He asked as he leaned on the door.

'I kissed Rafe.' She admitted bluntly. JJ didn't know how to react to the statement.

'You know what. I'm happy for you. Because you're blind.' JJ chuckled out earning a confused look from his friend.

'What do you mean I'm fucking blind you jackass.' Natalie slapped him jokingly as he leaned in closer.

'Because Natalie. Everyone on this whole island knows. That Rafe motherfucking Cameron is in love with you. But you. No one knows. But to us pogues. You seem like a fool for him.' JJ explained as he sighed. Natalie nodded as she said goodbye. Natalie had to be told that Rafe Cameron is in love with her and she couldn't see him till tonight at midsummer.
