I bolted upright and hit my head on the backboard of my bed.
"Ouch." I mutter, rubbing my head. BEEP BEEP BEEP! My alarm clock, (Idk if they have alarm clocks but they do now!) kept ringing. I slapped my hand down on the stop button and rolled out of bed. Right onto the floor. I land with a loud thump. Why did I do that? I really was prone to injuries today. I stumbled to my feet and went downstairs to get breakfast.
As I walk towards the kitchen, I smell something very familiar. And delicious. Mallowmelt. I pick up speed and twirl into the kitchen.
"Just in time, I was about to call you down." Edaline says and sets down a plate of Mallowmelt.
"Thank you!" I say and start stuffing my face. When I've finished devouring the Mallowmelt, I go upstairs to get ready for the day. I pick a simple red tunic with gold embroidery lining the hem and black leggings. I step in front of Vertena (I think that's her mirrors name?) and sighed. My hair looked like the top of a pineapple, tangled knots sticking up in every direction.
"Your hair!" Vertena gasps.
"I know, I know. I'll fix it." I say. Vertena instructs me carefully on how to brush out my hair correctly and fix it up in a simple thick waterfall braid. She insisted that I weaved a piece of gold ribbon into it to match my tunic. She also demands I put on some gold sparkly eyeliner. This outfit was much more extreme than I wanted it to be. Oh well. At least I look pretty for Bia- NO. Don't think about her. You're supposed to like Keefe. Not her. Yeah, this outfit is for Keefe. Totally. For sure. Most definitely not for the girl with the teal eyes I was constantly thinking about. Nope. Only for Keefe. Not a certain brunette. No way. Just Keefe. Only and forever Keefe. Sadly.
"SOPHIE!" Edaline called from downstairs.
"WHAT IS IT?!" I yell back.
"BIANA'S HERE!" She yells. I immediately blush at her name, but quickly try to stall it.
"BE THERE IN A SECOND!" I call down to her. I take a deep breath and rush down the stairs.
As I'm about to touch the floor after bounding down the steps, my foot slips and I start face-planting towards the floor. Before I can do anything, arms grab me and steady me back on the step I was standing on.
"Than-" I start and see who's standing there. It's her. The teal eyed elf with brunette hair. I feel heat creeping up my neck and I look down flustered.
"No problem." She says. "I'm here to take you dress shopping in Atlantis." and she grabs my arm and drags me out the door before I can protest. The last thing I see before we glitter away is Edaline standing in the doorway with that look on her face. The 'you're so cute together' look.
Biana drags me through the streets of Atlantis, passing dress shops and saying 'no, no, no' to every single one. Finally we stop at one. It was pretty simple and quaint, but the dresses were extravagantly beautiful.
"These dresses are so fancy." I complain.
"That's the point." She says and pulls me inside.
We spend hours of looking through dresses.
"How about this one?" Biana asks and holds it up. It's a simple off the shoulder red dress. It had was made of really soft fabric with a layer of lace on top at the sleeves. It ended in a cut at the knees and had a tulle skirt.

It was really pretty and I decided I'd give it a go.
"Okay." I agree. She jumps up and down excitedly and hands me the dress. I go into the changing room and try it on. I look in the mirror and gasp. I'm usually not one to compliment myself, but I looked amazing. I crept out nervously and Biana gasped. I twirl and she blushes.
"Yo-you look gre-great." She stutters. I'm blushing furiously now. I try to deny it, but I think I do have a crush on a certain teal eyed someone. And It's not Fitz.
"Okay!" Biana says, recovering from her shock. "Let's get you some heels to go with it."
I sigh and trudge after her through the store.
"How about these?" Biana says after and hour of searching. She's holding up a pair of white kitten heels, very simple, very easy. They did have some flowers on the front, but what can you do. It's elves. They don't leave anything without sparkles.
"Okay." I breath with relief.

I slipped them on my feet. They fit perfectly. I turned to Biana.
"They're perfect!" she exclaims.
After we're done paying for everything we go to get some ripplepuffs at a fancy dessert place. Biana made me wear my new things and I had to agree. After all how could I say no to her?
"Thanks for this Biana, it was fun." I say when we're about to part ways.
"I had fun too." she says. We're both blushing now. "One more thing." she says before I leap away. I turn back to her and she pecks me on the cheek. Before I can register what happened she lept away in a shower of sparkles. I reach a hand up and touch my cheek. She kissed me on the cheek. Biana Vacker, my long time crush, kissed me on the cheek. Now I have a stupid grin on my face as I leap back home.
Sorry that wasn't very long but I don't know what else to put in the chapter so this'll have to do.
