Have you noticed that when someone goes, "I was bitten by a dog once and now I'm kind of wary around them." most people are like, "Aww, I understand."
But when a woman or man say they've been raped/sexually abused in the past and they are now weary around the gender of their abuser, they are often told they are "paranoid" and "need to get over it."
I noticed it.
(Also when a dog bites a person, they are often put down)
