So, today I had a very, very shitty day. You know those days where nothing goes right. Everything goes to hell. Yeah, today was one of those days. Just me, Rose, living the life. Where to begin...how about when I woke up this morning, yes, the beginning. "Rose, wake up!" Mom yells and I twist in my bed. I roll my covers off and walked out of my room. It's dark outside and I can't see the light, only the color reflecting from the Tv since my brother Peter, as usual, is watching the weather channel. I don't get what's so big with him and weather, but anyways, what the hell. Can't anyone turn a light on. "What time is it?" I ask and my mom points to the Tv. I look at the cable box and it reads 6:05 a.m. and I sigh at it. Great. I race back to my room and finish typing my english essay and print it out. By the time I'm done printing it, it's 6:35. I moved back to my room and get dressed, wearing blue jeans from Delia's (which closed recently, and I'm really sad about that) and an American Eagle tank top with a purple plaid shirt over it. I put my glasses on and run to the bathroom, brushing my hair and teeth. I don't have time to eat breakfast this morning. Wonderful. Peter is already gone to the bus stop. My bus doesn't come until 7:15, so I relax for a minute, till I realise it's 7:10. I grab lunch money and my mom drives me to the bus stop in her brand new car, a black altima. I make my bus and talk to Ryan and Luke until my best friend Juliette get's on the bus. Juliette has long, curly black hair and has had glasses since she was 3, and she's my best friend. Sure, her weird obseesion with the 80s and 90s is a little weird, but she's my bestie and I love her. "Rose, hey." Juliette says, sitting in the spot next to me and wrapping her arm around me. "Do you have any homework to do on the bus this morning?" She says, her eyes looking over her glasses at me. "Yep, as usual, I have science make up work." I say and she rolls her eyes. We laugh and our other friend on the bus, Aly, get's on the bus. We talk as a group with the boys and we get to school. Once we get to school, we run to class and I talk with my friends Amelia, Melanie, and Stephanie. We race to class since we're in the hall when the bell rings and we make it just in time. We say the pledge of allegiance and organize our binders and other crap. The bell rings and I run to science, where I sit next to my friend Katie. We work on our classwork, which is making our own wordsearch on the periodic table of elements. I then go to spanish and see my friends Stephanie and Emily. I have a presentation with Jude so we prep for our presentation, and I'm completely fine as we run through it. But then it's our turn and we go up. I'm fine as Jude asks me the questions for me to answer in spanish, not a stutter, or an uhh, or anything. But then it's my turn to ask the questions. And after the first 3 questions, I freeze. I stutter the next question and Jude answers the question without a hint of nervousness in his voice. I freeze. I ask a few more questions, still stuttering. I freeze when I have one question left to ask. My teacher whispers "Age," and I hear her loud and clear, but I'm frozen. I then yell out that I'm drawing a blank. The bell rings and I finally remember the question. I say it and I grab my books and run out of the classroom. I run to tech ed and we're working on assignments that we missed, which I have a lot of because I was absent a lot lately. The teacher helps me and I get two assignments done. I run to chorus when the bell rings, and I slam the door on my hand. Great. And there's a sub, great. The sub is Mr. Valoncestio, and he is a total bastard. He once gave Peter detention. We're watching a movie (The Sister Act). I then go to Algebra, which is a ninth grade class, but I'm more advanced. I finish my test, which I feel confident in my answers. I finish the classwork packet and the bell rings. Me and Melanie meet at my locker like we do every day and she holds my binders while I get my lunch money from my bag. We then run to lunch and we sit down at our usual table, which has me, Melanie, Sophie, Stephanie, Amelia, Rebecca, Kelly, and Will (who is a russian and used to date Sophie, but in my opinion, I think he's gay). "Don't talk to me, I'm in a mood," Amelia says imeadeatly when she sits her lunch down at the table. We all look up at her and she's looking down at her food. "What's wrong? Is it Adam again?" Sophie says and Stephanie nods for Amelia. "He's being so fucking annoying. I was assistant capain of the volleyball team, and he yells at me. I have a learning disability, and he knows that, and he still yells at me. And he revoked my assistant captainship. He gave it to Leo. Which I'm happy Leo get's it because we're friends, but I am just so pissed at Adam." Sophie stood up and walked towards the table Adam was sitting at. For a moment I look at Leo's table and see my other best friend, Penny, is still not in school since her uncle died. Leo meets my eye, and I look away. Amelia looks at me and says, "Can you go get her Rose? She's just going to cause more trouble." I stand up and I walk to Adam's table. Sophie is yelling at Adam. He mouth's "Help," to me and I walk over to Sophie. "Go sit down, all your doing is causing more trouble." "I'm trying to help Ames." "No, your not helping by making matters worse." "Fuck you!" Sophie creamed at me and she ran towards the table. "Thanky you for that. She was ready to kill me for nothing." "Can you tell me what's going on? Remember, I'm on no one's side here." "Okay Rose. I know, your neutral in all of this. You're cool." "Wait, you seriously think I'm cool?" "Yeah." "Tell me." I say again, remembering why I came over here. Adam looks me in the eye. "My volleyball team sucks. I'm trying to help, but Amelia and her friend just yell at me. Leo went and talked to her today and he said that she didn't want to co captain and that I should give the co captain spot to him. So I did." I look at him. I believe him. But I also believe Amelia. He looks me in the eye, but his eyes are taken off of me and to Sophie, who came back over. Sophie started yelling at him again and I tried to stop her, but she looked at me and said "Don't," and walked away. "Look I get it. You know I'm right, but Amelia is your friend. I understand." I look at Adam. "I believe both of you. I don't know if anyone is lying, or it's a miscommunication, but she doesnt even want to talk to you about it. I'm going to go yell at Leo now, see you later." I said and skipped off to my table. Apparently, Sophie had already yelled at Leo. That's taken care of. I wander back over to Adam's table and we talk about it a little more. I say I'll see him after the bell rings and I go to social studdies. I talk with Adam through social studdies and english about it. I mention how Amelia is going to talk to the gym teacher and he said he figured that. Last period is gym and we actually win a volleyball game for once. I come home and I see my mom. Later Ryan and his little sister Samantha are at the door. I play it like no one is home and eventually they leave. Good. I can't stand Samantha. I didn't have to talk to them. And that is my shitty day. Read below for more information on the subjects in today's entry.
I have a major crush on Adam. His name is really Adam though. I also like a couple others, which will hopefully be coming up soon, their names in this story will be Noah and Nate. I used to like whose name in the story will be Rafael and James. Juliette's (her real name isn't really Juliette) boyfriend's name is Quinn. That's it, more later.
