My Real Life

Wow! I just realized how long it's been since I updated this story. So much has happened in my life and I forgot to post everything that happened. Maybe I'll go back in and fill a few holes because I will mention some people and memories that you have no clue about.

This morning started off good. It took me longer than usual to get up, but it was our first day back from April break, and well, you know the struggle. So I had leftover rice pilaf for breakfast and got dressed. Today I wore black jeans, a white tee-shirt with an outline of the Philadelphia skyline (my parents bought me that as a souvenir over their trip), and my black combat boots. And of course my heart locket. I wear it most days, unless I have gym. Thankfully, I didn't have gym today. I left for my bus at 6:32 am, and when I got on, I wished the bus driver a good morning. Then, Juliet came on the bus. I was so happy to see her, I haven't seen her since Thursday before break. And as for my other friends on the bus, well, Aly isn't on our bus anymore (plus, we have spoken since July, but that's another story for another time); Luke is a year younger than us, so he is still at Jr. high, and we're at high school; and as for Ryan, he doesn't take the bus in the morning anymore. Juliet and I arrived at school after talking the whole way, and we parted ways to our classes. We have NO classes together, again! Frustrating. Before homeroom, I saw my friends in the cafeteria. Cole, a senior who hits me in the head, it's how he shows people he likes them; Leo, Melissa, Q, and Dorian (most of my new friends this year, even though I knew all of them before this year); Matthew, Mia, Jackie, and Meghan were playing Yugioh, so I didn't really get to talk to them very much. Amelia, Melanie, and some other people were hanging out, so I went back to Q, Dorian, and Leo (Melissa left for class). We talked and I left for homeroom. I printed out my tee-shirt design, and I get to iron it on tomorrow. Its the letter from the Breakfast Club. In history, I saw Q and Matthew in History, and we learned more about the Allies turning the tide in World War II. I saw Sophie in the hallway on my way to geometry. Let's just say we aren't friends anymore, and we'll leave it like that. In geometry we worked on group work and I talked with Brian and Theo, who are two sophomores in a group that like to annoy me. I hate them, but really, I have a crush on Brian, but I hate him. It sucks. Anyways, there's a poem another idiot wrote about him, and I might post that one day, changing names and other small things of course. Spanish passed by quickly, talking to Noah and Lucas. After that, I went to English, where Melissa asked me if I like Q. Now, Q used to date my friend Penny, who I've talked about before. And our relationship is...interesting to say the least. We're friends. And I thought I was hiding my crush pretty well. But not good enough for Melissa, one of my closer friends and Q's best friend that is a girl. So I told her the truth. I like him, but I don't at the same time. Which is an excuse she gave me when I asked her about their relationship a few months ago. So she understood. And then we went to lunch. I saw a guy I have a weird relationship with, and hugged him. Rafael. And Brian and another idiot, Hyde were in line behind him. I walked away. Then walked back and asked him why he didn't call me pipsqueak when I called him Raffe. He said he didn't know. So I got lunch and sat with Melanie and Amelia and Brenna, until they left and I sat with Q, Melissa, and Dorian until Leo arrived. We went back to class for the rest of the period. We're starting Romeo and Juliet! Later I went to Double Bio (the reason I didn't have gym) and saw Hannah, my lab partner and we talked about break. The idiots showed up, Brian, Hyde, Henry, and Uriah, and they kept going on about how Rafael was my boyfriend. Yuck. I haven't thought about Raffe like that in four years. At break, I walked with Melissa, Penny, and Q, and Q walked back with me to my class since his is right across the hall. After the period was over, I walked with Q out of the school and got on my bus, ignoring Theo and Ryan, and my brother, and I talked with Juliet all the way till I had to get off.
