*Avielle's POV*

"Can i go now?" I whined for possibly the hundredth time, not only the hospital food was horribly bad, but the air conditioner decided to have a break time and shut down for the rest of my staying. Wonderful life i tell you.

"I think you know the answer to that, Do i need to repeat myself every time?" Marco scowled, clenching his fist to keep from bashing my head. I know not to mes with a professional boxer, but seriously what the hell have they been doing for the past two hours?

"I know, I know! Fill in some paperwork, what do we even need it for anyway? It's a waste of paper." I threw my hands in frustration, staring at the same dot on the ceiling, i hate hospitals as much as i hate spinach, and that is a lot of hate. Ever since my mom decided for me and my older brother to try to eat spinach 'It's very healthy' she always said -But really, she says that about every food she liked, and we have to suffer- She put it on omelettes, green on yellow is not a good sight. After the first bite we both claimed the bathroom afterwards, it haunted my mind for months.

Just as he was about to answer, a short knock came from the door followed by the Doctor, i muttered a 'finally' as i eyed the papers in his hand along with the usual clipboard full of unintelligible writing that's impossible to be read by the human eyes.

"I apologize for my late return, we had some problems with a patient." Dr.Cyrus cleared his throat, running his hand through his salt-pepper hair, handing the papers to Marco. I zoned out when they started discussing about my condition, looking out of the window at the park next to me, seeing some patients breathing the clean air, away from the smell of medicines and antiseptics.

"Avielle?" I heard the doctor said, putting a hand on my shoulder to shake me from my thoughts. I blinked a few times before setting my eyes on him, giving him my full attention.

"I already gave your guardian a list of medicines you should follow daily to let your injuries heal faster, i advice you to not get into another fight any time this soon, because it can affect you badly." he cautioned, looking at me as if it was my fault that i got beaten.

Probably because it is.

I mentally shook my head, even my thoughts can be stupid sometimes. I nodded silently clearly forgetting what he said.

"You're free to go now, Don't forget about what i said, I care for your protection" He finished talking in his professional voice, i rolled my eyes when he wasn't looking, i think his words meant 'Don't come back in here again, your injuries are costing us money'.

I reached for my clothes placed on a chair, took them and climbed out of bed to fix myself a bit in a shower. However, i didn't get to walk step before my legs slipped from underneath me.

I was inches away from the floor before a hand grabbed my good arm and pulled it up till i was leaning on the bed.

"Careful, you hadn't walked for days now Avi, even though i don't know what you managed to hold your bladder, but whatever. Take it easy" I glared at him in response.

I listened to his words and began taking baby steps towards the bathroom. I got into my clothes, with the help of a nurse and slowly walked out of the room, still unsure of my jelly legs.
