second day, same chaos

finally, the next day aether woke up by a loud voice. none other than paimon, yelling at aether to wake up.

"aether!! wake your butt up!" paimon shook aether aggressively.

"mmph- five more minutes." aether shifted to the other side, having his back facing paimon.

"...." paimon sat on aether's side and whispered in his ear. "does it look like paimon has 5 minutes? if paimon did, however, we wouldn't be in this fucking situation, now would we dear aether.?" paimon's eye twitches.

as if on cue, aethers eyes snapped open, and he yelled "i'm up, i'm up!!"

paimon flew off of aether and aether sat up on his bed rubbing his eyes in the process before asking,
"what do you need paimon?"

"ah right. can we go tour this place? when we were with that stranger, paimon caught a glimpse of this cool mall and cafe!!" paimons eyes sparkled up, talking about the mall and cafe.

"oh~ alright, let me freshen up real quick then we can head out." aether pat paimons head and got up, rushing into his closet.

"yes sir!" paimon closed the door and left.

a few minutes later aether came out of his room and went to the bathroom, not forgetting to knock first.

with no response, aether opened the door and started to complete his routine (showering, brushing teeth so on, and so forth).

diluc entered the bathroom in the middle of aether brushing his teeth.

"hwello" aether waved before he turned his attention back to whatever he was doing.

"ah, hello." diluc walked beside aether and started to brush his teeth as well.
looking at aether through the mirror, diluc asked "how have they been treating you so far?"

finishing up aether raises an eyebrow, "how has who been treating me?"

"the males living in this house, i mean. my apologies for not specifying." diluc clarified, finishing up as well.

"ah.. very good i guess. and please drop the honorifics, it makes me feel ... weird." aether said, awkwardly smiling.

"sorry, out of habit." diluc let's out a small laugh.

'this is awkward uhm.'
"I'll be going now, bye." aether briefly smiled, and went to his room.

"hm~ interesting. too bad the brat called him" diluc rolled his eyes before walking out the bathroom.

aether entered his room to see paimon playing with his phone.

without looking up paimon says, "aether you're here, finally! hurry up and get dressed"

"okay, okay. and get off of my phone!"
aether glared at paimon before walking into his closet. he changed and walked out again.

aether grabbed his belongings (paimon included) and walked downstairs, from there, he was able to see childe, kaeya, and xiao .

"ah!~ goodmorning aether and paimon" childe announced and smirked, remembering what he found yesterday.

xiao tackled aether to the floor and aether landed with an "oof!-"

"ouch. xiao get off!"

xiao hugged aether and whispered into his ear.
"we couldn't even cuddle last night like you promised."

sighing, aether gives in and the cuddle for a few seconds before xiao got pulled off by kaeya.
then aether gets pulled up by kaeya.

aether's p.o.v

"guys, can't you see the poor man is going somewhere?" kaeya and xiao both look me up and down.

childe stands up and walks behind the men facing me. "oh yeah, btw where are you going?"

sighing, i explain "paimon wanted to go to this cafe and mall, so we're going there.

"oouh~ can we come?" xiao's eyes sparkle up.

"no."

"please"

"no"

"please"

"no."

"fine." they all plop on the couch.

"bye~" i wave before leaving the house with paimon.

no ones p.o.v

"is he gone?" xiao peeps his head out.
"yes! go go go go"

the three all follow behind aether, somewhat like spy's ... 🤨
