"hey paimon, do you think i should've said yes to them?" i asked paimon while walking with my hands behind my head

"no paimon thinks that you made the right decision! besides, we should explore without them!" paimon exclaims.

chuckling, i say "ofcourse, the cafe is around here somewhere let's hurry up"

"ooo, by the way aether? do you think we'll meet that long haired boy again?" paimon questions

"kazuha?" paimon nods "ah.. im not sure,
but hopefully!"

xiaos p.o.v

"guys guys, did you hear that!?" xiao whisper yells to chaeya.

"huh?" chaeya both say in unison and look up at me.

"useless." i say rolling my eyes before running closer to aether and paimon.

"sIr—" kaeya and childe run up to me, making me fall on the ground.

"ooufh-" we all fall down with a thump, me taking the impact the most.

aethers p.o.v

all of a sudden I hear a thump. sounding like a group of people falling on the ground.

"paimon, did you hear that?" i pause, trying to hear the noise again.

"paimon didn't, aether are you okay?" paimon flies in front of me, worried.

"i'm fine, don't worry. let's go" i briefly smile before teleporting to the cafe.

".... AETHER. YOU COULD'VE DONE THAT?!?" paimons eye twitched.

"yes. now let's go. and PLEASE turn into your other form." i roll my eyes.

"hmph. fine." paimon turns into a full-sized human.
"happy?"

"indeed." i hold my hand out for paimon to take it, and she did in which i smile

we walk in to be hit with a smell of sweets and coffee.

"mmh~ I miss this!"

paimon and i walk to the cashier. paimon ordering strawberry cake with hot chocolate and me ordering red velvet cake and green tea.

i pay the cashier and sit down at the table sipping my tea.

no ones p.o.v

the two enjoy theirselves embraced in each others company, 'unaware' of a certain trio looking at them

"paimon, shall we go now?" aether rested his head on his hand with a raised eyebrow.

"hm~ ofcourse" paimon smiled and stood up. her eyes landing on a certain 3, staring dead in their eyes before winking.

"alright." aether stood up and dusted himself off.
"let's go." aether walked out of the store, paimon trailing behind him.

xiao, childe, and kaeya all got up and quietly followed aether and paimon. wondering if 'paimon' really seen them or not.

"are they gone yet?" aether raised his eyebrow, and threw his arm around paimon playfully.

"the three of them?" paimon asked and softly laughed.

"ofcourse, i wonder when they'll give up." aether sighed.

"to be honest, i thought they would when i winked at them, but i guess not." paimon shook her head.

"mhm. let's take a shortcut."

aether took his hand off paimons shoulder and squatted down.

"eh?! are you serious!?" paimon's jaw dropped. "THE aether is trying to let ME on HIS back!?"

"are you coming on or not!?" aether yelled in annoyance.

"feisty~ i like it." paimon laughed while she got on aether's back.
"be careful wit—"

aether takes off full speed, and in a matter of a second they're at the mall.

the three however, as soon as the left the store they seen no trace of paimon or aether.

"what the hell..." kaeya blinked in utter confusion
"did we miss something... where the hell are they!?" childe yelled in frustration.
"..." xiao was in the same boat as kaeya; confused.

back with paimon and aether!

they finally reach the mall, and when they did aether put paimon down safely.
