Chapter 6 "How Cute Could He Be?"

When Denki woke up he was surprised he got up earlier than his alarm. He decided to take his time getting fully awake as it is Sunday. He listened to see if he could hear anyone else awake. From his room he couldn't hear anything so he guessed the others on his floor were either in the common room or still asleep.

After a few minutes of laying in his bed he decided it was finally time to get up. He left his room still in his pajamas, a basic white shirt and pikachu pajama pants, and made his way to the elevator. In the elevator he presses the button for the ground floor.

When he got to the ground floor he heard quiet chatter. Curious Denki went to investigate, when he turned the corner he saw Uraraka, Sero, Todoroki, and Midoriya all standing around the couch. "Hey, what are you guys looking at?" he said once he got close to them.

They all turned to him, putting a finger up to their mouth, telling him to be quiet. Denki just gave them a confused look. They pointed to the couch before turning around to look again themselves. He moved to the back of the couch and looked over. What he saw surprised him, Bakugou sleeping with Katsu sleeping on his chest. He didn't know what to expect but this definitely wasn't anything close to what he could think of.

Surprisingly the ash blonde looked very peaceful. The scowl always placed on his face was long gone, his features were all soft and smooth. He looked sort of cute.

Wait... cute?

Did he just really call Bakugou cute? The Bakugou Katsuki, the one yelling all the time, the one always scowling, the one that hates everyone, is cute? Denki must still be tired or hallucinating to think that. He decides to move on from that thought. He notices that Bakugou is still holding Katsu, who is still sleeping. Now someone that really looks cute is Katsu, he is laying on his stomach with his cheek all squished from his face laying sideways, wearing a blue onesie.

"Why were you all just watching him?" Denki asked, not really understanding why they were all just watching him and not doing anything.

"What do you mean why! This is Kacchan we are talking about, he is never this relaxed in front of people!" Midoriya tried to explain. To be honest it confused Denki more. I mean he gets it but they are being a bit extra about it.

"And look how cute the baby is!" Uraraka added.

Denki looked at Sero and Todoroki who both just shrugged and walked together to the kitchen. Leaving Denki with Midoriya and Uraraka.

"Come on guys let's leave them alone bef-" he couldn't finish his sentence before Katsu let out a loud cry. Which also led to Bakugou waking up.

Bakugou sat up while making sure Katsu didn't fall. He looked around confused before he spotted them. He rubbed Katsu's back to try to calm him down, "What the fuck are you guys standing around for?"

"Kacchan! Don't curse in front of him!" Midoriya said, concerned for the baby.

"He's a fucking baby, Deku. He doesn't understand!" Bakugou growled out. Bakugou made his way towards Denki, "Here, take him for a few minutes." he said, handing over Katsu. Bakugou didn't even wait, as soon as Denki had the baby he already started to leave.

Denki just stood there awkwardly while holding a crying Katsu, "What should I do!" He already started panicking which made Katsu cry harder.

Bakugou didn't even look back when he answered, "Just give him a bottle and change his diaper." He waved back before entering the bathroom.

"Don't worry Kaminari, Midoriya and I will get a diaper while you feed him!" Uraraka was already dragging Midoriya to the elevator, not giving Denki any time to decline the offer, not that he was going to.

He made his way into the kitchen, already knowing where the supplies is thanks to the teachers explaining everything yesterday. When he made his way into the kitchen he passed Sero and Todoroki.

"There goes Bakugou, leaving it all to you," Sero jokes, playfully punching Todoroki's shoulder.

"Didn't he say he would be back soon?" Todoroki said, rubbing the spot Sero playfully punched. Poor Todoroki, not understanding things that aren't straight forward. Sero tried to explain to him while Denki continued what he came in here to do. Once he finished the bottle he leaned his back onto the counter and gave Katsu the bottle.

He latched on straight away drinking to his heart's content. Denki just relaxed listening to the chatter as background noise. Not long after Bakugou came back from the bathroom. Denki went to hand Katsu back to him but he gave him a strange look, "What the fuck are you doing Dunce Face?"

"Well I thought you would want him back?" Confusion also written on his face.

"You are already heading him so you might as well finish the job and change his diaper after," he said making his way to the fridge. Bakugou grabbed some ingredients and closed the fridge. "I will be making breakfast."

"Us too right!" Sero grinned.

"What no, make your own!" Bakugou yelled at him, going back to focusing on making breakfast. Sero just rolls his eyes, going back to talking to Todoroki.

Denki made his way to the common room so that Bakugou had more space to work. Uraraka and Midoriya end up coming back down, this time with Jirou. "Hey guys, got everything?"

"Yeah it wasn't too hard to find."

"Good," he replied as they handed him everything he needed. He looked down at Katsu who had just finished the bottle. He burped him and changed his diaper as the other conversed around him. As he held Katsu he started to get fussy. Denki already fed and changed him so he was a bit confused on what he needs. He rocked him but that seemed to make it worse. Jirou seemed to notice because she made her way over, "Could I try to calm him down?"

"That would be helpful," he laughed, handing Katsu carefully over.

Sadly it seemed to have the opposite effect and it made him cry even more. Jirou seemed like she was very uncomfortable before Uraraka came over and offered to try, "Sorry I couldn't help." Jirou seemed disappointed. Denki was going to reassure her but Katsu ended up crying harder.

"What is going on out there?" They heard Bakugou yell from the kitchen.

"He wont stop crying!" Uraraka explained, also starting to panic when her help ended up making things worse.

Bakugou ended up leaving the kitchen and made his way over to them, "Are you extras that stupid that you can't calm down a baby?" He took Katsu from Uraraka and held him to his chest, holding him carefully while rocking back and forth. Magically Katsu claimed down only lightly whimpering. "How hard was that?" Bakugou didn't even wait for an answer, he just made his way back to the kitchen.

Denki, Uraraka, and Jirou all stood there shocked. "Amazing," he heard one of the whisper.

When Bakugou left the kitchen Denki noticed that Katsu had fallen asleep in the short time. Denki was sort of jealous. Did Katsu not feel comfortable with him? Well he also didn't calm down with Uraraka and Jirou. So did he just prefer Bakugou?

"Why are you just sitting there, Dunce Face? Go get your food." he said, glaring at Denki.

Denki quickly made his way to the kitchen to grab his food. When he left the kitchen to sit with Bakugou he noticed Kirishima was with him so he sat across from them and joined the conversation. Though he couldn't completely focus. He watched as Bakugou managed to eat and hold Katsu carefully so he doesn't wake up.

Was Denki a bad father? I mean he was the one that really wanted to keep Katsu but Bakugou seems to be doing the most work. Did Katsu hate him? Is Bakugou regretting keeping him? He should figure out ways to help more or at least to get Katsu to like him more. It wouldn't be responsible of him to leave all of it to Bakugou.

He made up his mind! He was going to help out more and get Katsu to like him.

I mean how hard could it be?
