Getting woken up by a pair of voices that are so soothing that it's scary isn't my particular way of waking up.
"Sam..." the voices say together.
I open my eyes; finding myself starring into the eyes of 2 teenage boys. I jolt upright ready to run for my life; the bleach blonde that was a bit pale but not too pale grabbed my arm not to tight nor to loose. I looked straight into the boys beautiful, piercing blue eyes I recognized this was Lional.
"You scared me." I say embarrassed.
"I know." he replies with a laugh.
I turn and see Arth messing with his long but short jet black hair, with this toned and tanned body this boy almost looked perfect.
"This just isn't enough hair!" he says tugging at his hair.
"Why are you guys, well, guys" I laugh.
"Well we are trying out new things." Arth replies.
"I thought spirits knew everything." I said.
"Not when you have dummy over here." Lional says as he looks towards Arth.
I laughed at the response. If only me and my sister acted like this.
"We understand Sam." Arth says as he puts his hand on my shoulder. Then Lional puts his hand on my other shoulder. This was what I wanted with my sister, my family for that matter. This relationship with these lions, well, now humans was comfortable, lovable, and amazing and I loved it.
"So, is there more to Borns than I already know?" I ask.
"Loads." Arth groans as he rolls on the ground still in human form.
"Borns can shape shift between their Born Spirit animal and their human form, but only if the spirit allows it." Lional explains.
"But for you it's a bit different." He smirks.
"Explain yourself."
"You have two Born spirits; which means you can transform into both of our forms. he exclaimed.
"How do I.."
"Change?' They say together cutting me off.
"Yeah..that." I said awkwardly.
"Simple think of unicorns." Arth laughs.
Lional stares at his brother with the 'are-you-stupid' look. I start to laugh loudly.s
"Seriously though." I laugh; wiping away my tears.
"You think of one of is in Lion form and bam; your in our form, but you won't look exactly like us though." Arth says.
"I don't get it." I say confused.
"Well look at us." Arth starts.
"I have a white mane, he has a black mane. Lional finishes.
"And..." I said leading them to finish their answer.
"Your hair is a dirty blonde and your eyes blue." Arth says.
"Like mine!" Lional exclaims.
But in reality his eyes were extremely blue, very bright and vibrant, where mine were dark blue and very deep in hue.
"Your eyes would look like mine, and your body color will match your hair color." Lional explains.
"May I try? I ask politely.
"Of course!" they say together excited.
"You guys have got to get that in control." I laugh.
"Go ahead." Arth nudges.
