A Jonnor story (post-kiss)

Chapter 5

Connor's POV--
1 week and 2 days later...

I walked into school for the first time in 3 weeks. Everyone glanced at me and whispered to their friends. I was on crutches, which would only last a week. I made it to my homeroom and quickly sat down, already feeling tired from walking.

I saw Jude walk in and immediately smiled. He saw me and smiled back.
"Connor! Glad you're back!" He put his bag down and sat next to me while our teacher took attendance.
-in Science class later-

It was now period 3 which was one of my classes with Jude. Unfortunately it included Daria as well. I sat down with Jude and then i saw Taylor and Daria walk in and I got a little nervous. Daria looked at me but then looked away almost right as she did so. She probably hated me now. I broke up with her as me and Jude started having a 'thing' which i didn't even think was a lot.
"So, you excited for the dance next month?" Jude asked. I nodded.
"Yeah! It's perfect timing, since i'll be pretty much healed by then."

Class started and everyone was quiet.

--at lunch--
I sat at a table with Jude and we talked for awhile about random things like video games and movies.
"There's a new horror movie coming out this weekend. Do you want to see it with me? My dad will be out again, so it'll be fine." I asked Jude.
"Oh, yeah sure! Sounds fun!"

--skip to before the date--

Jude's POV--
I didn't really know if this was a date or not but i tried to look good. I wore a gray shirt and jeans and gelled my hair.

Lena dropped me off at the movie theatre where Connor was already waiting. I said bye to her and met him after buying a ticket.

We found a seat in the back of the movie theatre and talked before the movie started.

We held hands throughout basically all the movie. It reminded me of the movie i went to with daria and taylor and Connor.

Connors POV--
At then hour mark i decided i wanted to kiss Jude again. Badly. But i wasn't positive he'd be comfortable with it. Would it be polite to ask him?

I look over at cute little Jude and he's already staring at me. I stare into his eyes and it just happens. I lean in and we kiss. It wasn't like full in making out but similar too it. In the movie somebody screamed and we both pulled back, shocked by the sudden jumpscare.

We then laughed and watched the movie again, still holding hands.

Jude rested his head on my shoulder and I smiled and put my arm around him.
