Obsession

Chapter 4

Illidan didn't see Joslyn for the rest of that day. He then takes all of his stuff and starts to walk home. As soon as he gets home he takes out his journal and sets it down on his table beside his bed. He then sits down on his bed and takes the journal from the table. He then begins to write.

**Journal Entry**

September 10th,

Today didn't go such as planned. Having to work with Drew in the English paper. Getting yelled at by Drew in lunch today. And then also, him expecting me to stay away from Joslyn when I just have begun to talk to her. I hope he doesn't expect me to listen to him, because there is no way I would ever give up Joslyn just like that.

6:10 am. Illidan picks up his phone to call Joslyn.

"Hello?", Joslyn says. "Who is this?"

"Its Illidan.", he replies.

"Oh. Hi Illidan. I see you remembered to call me.", Joslyn says. You can hear the smile her voice when she talks.

"See I told you I would.", Illidan says laughing slightly.

Illidan and Joslyn begin to start off their conversation. They continue to talk for hours. 3:20 am comes around.

"Oh my god. Look at the time. I must be getting to sleep. If I talk any longer then I wont get up in the morning.", Joslyn says.

"Alright well, goodnight. Oh wait, and Joslyn.", Illidan says with sudden fear in his voice.

Illidan wanted to tell Joslyn how he really felt about her. How he has always felt about her even before they started talking.

"Yeh?", Joslyn says with a quick reply.

Suddenly Illidan made attention of what he was about to do. He starts to panic and hangs up the phone quickly.

"Oh gosh.", Illidan says to himself.

**Journal Entry**

September 11th,

It is so early in the morning. Just had a wonderful conversation with the best girl ever. Why is she so perfect to me. And I am so stupid to tell her how I really feel. That's why I just can't do it. Not yet. Am I crazy for telling her? Then also, what about Drew. I know that if I do try something he will just ruin it all. If I don't tell her, will Drew get his chance before mine? Should I do it? I just don't know.

**Third Person**

School comes around the next morning and Illidan makes it there on time. Surprisingly, he doesn't find Joslyn in the morning like he always does by her locker. As Illidan goes towards his locker, he is trying to search to find out where she is. He gives up for awhile and 3rd hour comes around, she is still not there. It wasn't until lunch time did Illidan see Joslyn.

"Hello Illidan.", Joslyn says.

"Where were you today? I didn't see you today?", Illidan says in a somewhat harsh tone of voice.

"Ha calm down Illidan. I was just showing this new kid around, Richard. He is right over there if you would like to meet him.", Joslyn says with a slight laugh.

Illidan didn't even have time to answer before she called Richard over to them.

"Hello.", Richard says with a half smile.

Richard seemed very out there from other people. He was tall and very tan, and had medium dark brown hair. He was very musculur and his eyes were very deep blue. He was no one like anyone that went to that school. And I think that would be why all of the girls wanted to talk to him.

"So Illidan. What was that you had to tell me on the phone last night?", Joslyn asks suddenly.

"Um, what do you mean?", Illidan replies.

"Yeh you sounded like you were gonna ask me something and then you hung up on me.", Joslyn replies looking quite confused.

"I, don't remember sorry. If it comes back to me I will be sure to tell you.", he says.

"Alright, oh hey Richard you should give me your number considering you are going to be working on the paper in English with us.", Joslyn tells Richard. "Here, take this piece of paper and pencil and write it down.

Richard writes down his number and give it to Joslyn.

"Richard is working on the paper with us?", Illidan asks.

"Yeh. All of the other English classes were full other then Mrs. Blackwood English for 3rd hour. So I thought that since I was showing him around and all and had already started to begin to know him, that he could just work with us. You don't have a problem with that. Do you?", Joslyn asks.

"No. No problem.", Illidan replies.

"I'm sorry for not asking. I know I should have, but I was just trying to be nice.", Joslyn says.

"It's fine.", Illidan says taking out his journal.

**Journal Entry**

Of course. Just someone else to get in the way of me ever having the chance to be with her. Why doesn't things ever work out for me. I bet Richard and Drew will just get along well. They are both seem just like each other. Seeming as they are better then everyone else. I just won't have this.

**Third Person**

Illidan then puts away his journal and gets his stuff ready before the bell rings for lunch to end. Drew soon walks up to the table which Joslyn, Illidan, and Richard where at.

"So you are the new guy!", Drew said loudly.

Richard nods his head.

"Oh you and I are going to be great friend. Joslyn told me earlier that you are going to be working with us on the english paper. Just a better chance to get to know each other.", Drew says quickly.

Richard just rolls his eyes. Lunch soon ends and no one really started talking to anyone after that. The day soon went by fast and everyone was going to their lockers.

"Hey. Are you and Joslyn dating?", Richard goes up to Illidan and asks.

"No. Why do you ask?", Illidan replies confused.

"I was going to ask her out for this weekend and if you were dating her then I wasn't going to say anything. Is she dating Drew?", Richard asks curiously.

"No. She isn't. But I think that she might be interested in someone else though. Maybe you should hold off.", Illidan replies.

"Or maybe not.", Richard says with a smile.

Richard then walks away and leaves the school.
