Hold You Accountable by Alluringli
Seniors series #1
Madali lang daw ang maging honor student. You just have to mix intelligence, perseverance and start being assiduous with almost everything - then you'll be rewarded with the medals you have always yearned for. Zafirah Sidney Sanchez has always been like that ever since she stepped her feet in the school grounds. Kaakibat ng pagiging honor student niya, she has always put her grades above everything and believes that she can be the best among the rest.
When she met Sarathiel Zyler Aracosa of the STEM strand, he trampled on her ego when his grades were greater than hers and to add salt to the wounds - the guy did it so effortlessly. Being affronted with the sudden revelation that her enemy might just have it all even without inserting any effort, Zafirah made it her school life's mission to beat him when it comes to academics.
But what if instead of the passionate hatred that she is insisting to have for him, a burning love would surface? At paano kung ang inaalagaan niyang titulo ay tuluyan nang maagaw sa kanya?
And if things go wrong, who do we hold accountable for our choices? It is our hearts or our minds?

Zafirah is a very relatable grade conscious student. Ninety bago landi. But you can never order love to come at a certain time and place in your life. As far as I know, it is so unpredictable, just like how they met. I admire Zafirah and Sarathiel (even though studying was so effortless for the great Sarathiel... Sana all) for they were able to manage their time well and go through the hurdles of life. Zafirah is a reminder that we should take good care of ourselves as we go on a seemingly never-ending battle for our dreams. Besides, what good would our efforts do if we're not alive to see and experience it?
It is superb to the highest level!!! It is sooo relatable! Lalo na 'yung sa mga pabuhat sa grupo (ehem!) at sa mga pressures na nararamdaman ng isang estudyante. Honestly speaking, it made me remember what it is like being with your friends and classmates and physically going to school. It made me miss it so much! It's also very funny and nakakakilig!!!
Sana all may Sarathiel.
