As we walked side by side, I saw more of Karakura town. I stared at the format of the buildings, nothing compared to the ones in the soul society. I had no clue where we were so I just followed Toshiro every second along the way. We were both quietly enjoying the walk around the town, but soon I began to wonder what else we could do instead of just walking around. I turned to face Toshiro.

"Are there any interesting places here?" I asked with curiosity. It is my first time in the world of living so I don't know much about it. He stopped and stood still thinking.

"I might know a place..." he answered hesitantly. "...it's not too far from here so we'll probably make it before the sun sets"

"Alright let's go then!" I replied as I stretched out my arms. Toshiro kept leading the way but now I continued to walk behind instead of alongside him. I was starting to grow tired but it wasn't too bad.

After a couple more minutes of walking, we were now met with a slight hill. He stopped and looked over at me.

"Right up this hill," he said without looking back at me. It was already a bit dark out and the sun was slowly drifting away. We made our way to the top of the hill and saw the sun starting to set there. Mesmerized by the view I stared in awe, I had never seen such a view. From the hill, you could also see all of Karakura town. Toshiro made his way over a metal road fence and then sat on it watching the sunset as well.

"It's beautiful..." I whispered as I went over the fence and sat down as well.

"It is..." he whispered back.

'Who knew this cruel world held sights like these...' I thought to myself. I looked slightly at Toshiro who was still looking back at the setting sun. His snowy white hair swiftly swayed in the breeze while his eyes softly stared ahead. This is when I saw the supposed cold captain have such a relaxed gaze. Suddenly he turned his sight to me. My heart skipped a beat at the act.

'Again with this feeling?...' I questioned myself, '...honestly, it's starting to get nerve-wracking' Though I was confused by this new feeling I didn't break eye contact, even so, it felt like my heart was going to jump out of my chest. With struggle, I remained composed and didn't allow myself to get flustered again.

"...something wrong?" he asked breaking eye contact, again.

'Yes?...No?' I thought as I stared back at the sun too. Neither of the two was the right answer but then what is?

"No just lost in thought," I answered, "Say Toshiro..." I saw him twitch from the corner of my eye as I called him by his name, "tell me about yourself" I finished off.

He paused and stared back at me with a confused look. "What exactly do you wanna know?" He signed in annoyance.

"I don't know...anything you're comfortable with telling me..." I said nervously as to what he would say back. I remained facing the sunset but watched him from the corner of my eye. He was lost in thought for a few seconds until it seemed like he finally came up with something.

"My favorite fruit is watermelons..." he said with a slight blush. I paused processing the words that had just come out of his mouth. Suddenly I burst out laughing, out of all the things he could have said...he says this.

"HEY! What's so funny?!" Toshiro questioned my reaction. He had an angry chibi expression on his face which caused me to continue laughing even more. Tears poured from the corners of my eyes.

"Omg, I'm so sorry..." I began as I wiped the corner of my eyes, "I just wasn't expecting that..." I finished off by letting out a small laugh. He settled down still with the same expression. "Plus that face was the icing on the cake..." I whispered under my breath.
