Everything messed up. Weekend came faster than he anticipated.
Taehyung woke up so early. He couldnt sleep as much thinking about what will happen tomorrow.
"What if there's a real ghost?" He murmured to himself. "I nearly escaped last time. What if it'll kill me this time?" His maid, serving him breakfast gave him a confused look. He gave her a tight lipped smile and ate silently.
I planned to be there at evening. Ghosts usually are so powerful at night, so night is a big no. With all the bravery he got, he even took a hockey stick with him, mustering the courage within him, he walked upto the balcony and climbed up.
Taking deep breaths, holding the stick so tight, he walked to his spot.
"Heyy...anybody here ? He called out loud. "Come on now, talk to me. What now you scared seeing this stick. Ha!!" he shouted closing his eyes.
Minutes passed and nothing happened. No voice, nothing.
I peaked through my half closed eyes and turned my head side to side, looking for a shadow or anything relating to a ghost. Nothing. Not even a wind. I exhaled a deep breath of relief.
"Thank God that was just my hallucination. I knew it" he punched the air succeeded.
Feeling relieved he sat there, dont know how long, falling deeper and deeper into the scenery infront of him.
Taehyung returned to his room when the night came by. Cant risk being there at night.
He didnt know the presence would visit him that night.
**************
"Today, the last day I'll come see him" the voice said, while coming rushing to the spot with the last hope of seeing the bright smile and beautiful face.
Smiling to itself, it searched the area with sparkling eyes. No one. That hurt.
So it is a goodbye then, the voice thought. I dont even know his name. Blamed itself for doing such a reckless thing.
I should've known I'll scare him. I shouldnt have scared him like that. I couldnt hold back, he was crying his heart out and it broke me watching him break into pieces. I dont even know why he was so broken. Nothing can be done anymore.
If this is how it's gonna end, then let it be.
"Pretty boy, I'll miss you" it said with a heaviness in its voice to no one.
Crushing, the hope and the wish to see him again, it headed past the mansion in a rapid motion.
*************
Whistling, making the trees and flowers dance with its motion, smiling, the wind rustled.
Morning rays made the flowers bloom. Bright, pretty flowers reminded it of someone.
It still hurt remembering the sweet memory of that particular boy, but still ignoring the missing part that was a sweet memory.
The way he smiled his boxy smile. So happy seeing the nature spread before him. Sitting at so high like a king of throne. A talkative pretty creature. It smiled while remebering him.
Dont know if I'll ever get to see him. What can I do. It still hurt though. Thoughts all clogged up, direction disoriented, I passed through carelessly, rustling the leaves.
While passing, caressing the trees and flowers, I didnt expect to see the scene before me. Didnt expected at all. Didnt even know which way I was passing. Am I dreaming? I asked myself.
There I saw the one I remembered just moments ago. He was sitting at his usual spot. Eyes closed, taking deep breaths and relaxing.
I smiled, wide enough to hurt my jaw. I couldnt function for seconds. The one I thought I couldnt see anymore was sitting right there eyes closed.
I couldn't suppress my overflowing happiness. "Finally" I said relieved. I couldnt fathom why he was here again. I didnt care much, I reached there in seconds. I was just so happy to see him again.
Promising to myself to not do such a stupid act to scare off the boy, I went near him.
Looking at his beautiful face, and the way he relaxed I stood there not making the boy aware of my presence.
