Narrator POV

The next morning everyone woke up and went down to the kitchen where Luna Jin and Alpha Namjoon were already waiting. Jin had just finished making breakfast, and Namjoon was busy making calls and receiving them. A lot were other Alphas giving condolences because they knew Jimin was raised by him and Jin, the rest was him making funeral arrangements. The King and Queen would have their own for Jimin as the kingdom's Prince, they were having one for their precious baby boy.

"Morning everyone. Please have a seat." Jin said and everyone sat down, Namjoon put his phone on silent and put it in his pocket. Jin has a rule of no phones at the table.

"So. How did everyone sleep?" Namjoon asked

There were a series of quiet 'fine's' thrown around the table. Jin served the food and everyone began to eat in silence.

After breakfast everyone dispersed and Jin, Namjoon, and Yoongi were left in the dining room.

"Namjoon, Jin..." Yoongi began "Thankyou for all you've done for me and my pack." he said with a said smile

"Of course" Namjoon said

"You will always be family to us Yoongi, you are our sons mate forever and always" JIn said with a sad smile

"I just cant believe hes gone" Yoongi said with tears threatening to leave his eyes

"Me to" Jin said taking Yoongi's hand gently

"My pack and I will be leaving today." Yoongi said

"So soon?" Jin asked

"I'm sorry but yes, they need to heal and get back to their normal lives. We will return for Jimin's funeral and official moon ceremony in a few weeks." Yoongi said

"Are you sure you're ready?" Jin asked

"No, but when will I ever be ready to live without my mate..." Yoongi said a single tear dropping. Jin said nothing and just hugged him. Yoongi gave him a smile and said "I'm okay... really." he said and gently pushed Jin away, getting up and facing the pair.

"Goodbye Alpha Namjoon, Luna Jin" Yoongi said sincerely and bowed deeply

"Goodbye Alpha Yoongi" Namjoon and Jin said with sad smiles on their faces

Yoongi returned a sad smile and turned away, walking out of the house where his pack was waiting ready to go home.

"Do you think he will be okay?" Jin asked Namjoon

"I don't know.... No one has ever been the same after losing a mate."

Jin said nothing and whimpered, worried for Yoongi. His wolf felt a deep connection with him. The closest thing he has left of his son. His son's other half, the person he was supposed to spend the rest of his life with.

The following few weeks consisted of Namjoon planning Jimin's funeral and Jin doing anything to keep his mind distracted.

Yoongi and his pack went home and nothing was okay. Yoongi did nothing but stay in his bed and sleep. No eating, no showering, no talking, no mind-link... he had blocked off the world. His wolf had blocked him off. He was broken, his wolf was broken. Nothing to him was okay.

His beta took control of the pack as it was duty. The only communication that he and Yoongi had had at all was a single sentence from his Alpha on the day they returned.

"Under NO circumstances are you or anyone else to utter a single word of pack business to any outsiders INCLUDING Alpha Namjoon, and Luna Jin nor is anyone to bother me" Yoongi said looking at Chanyeol with his Alpha eyes present. Giving his wolf a direct order.

"Yes, Alpha '' Chanyeol replied with his head bowed and neck shown. He was extremely worried for him. He had studied about wolves and what happens when they lose a mate. It was bad, very bad. But with that command he couldn't do anything.

No one could.

So he did the only thing he could. He took position as temporary Alpha and ran the pack. He didn't tell the pack anything, just that Yoongi needed some time and he left for a while.

The day of the funeral came and the couple were greeting guests at the door. The only member of the royal family that was able to come was Taemin.

"Evening Alpha Namjoon, Luna Jin" Taemin greeted dressed in an all black suit

"Evening Prince Taemin. Any news?" Jin asked with hope

"There's been no signs of anything. I'm sorry" He replied sadly

Jin just nodded slightly.

"Is everything okay around here?" Taemin asked Namjoon

"Everything is okay here, but I haven't heard anything from Yoongi since the day after we left the palace." Namjoon replied

"It will take time for him to heal. He lost his mate, We all lost him as a brother, son, packmate, Luna or prince but he lost his Mate. Nothing can cause bigger pain" Taemin explained

"We just hope he doesn't shut everyone out" Jin said

"I'm sure that Yoongi will be okay, it will just take time" Namjoon tried to calm Jin down, to which Jin just nodded his head

"Please excuse me, I'm going to head inside for now" Taemin informed Namjoon to which he got a small smile and a nod in return

Namjoon and Jin continued to greet guests. Everyone was there except Yoongi. When Chanyeol and the pack came without him it stirred worry within the two but they understood that it just might have been too hard to face everyone right now.

But he was there. He was in the tree lines hidden and scent masked. He observed the whole thing from the very top of a very tall tree. He cried and blamed himself for it all. He thought that Jimin only did it so Yoongi would think he got a good mate. He blamed himself 100%.

After the ceremony he left, but did not go home. He went to the very top of a mountain overlooking the sea. If you looked below you would see nothing but bottomless water and rocks with waves crashing hard against them.

Yoongi sat there, on the edge of the cliff thinking about what he was going to do next. He had lost all hope in the world and himself.
