After 3 years
Naina lifted herself little more to reach the ceiling but her short height betrayed her.
She lifted on her toe but the terrible shaking of ladder outlined the boundary line, she couldn't cross.
She huffed and looked toward the door for any familiar face to appear for help.
But luck wasn't in mood of looking at her happily.
Again her glances graced the ladder and with a sigh , she raised herself on her toe.
But the ladder didn't appreciate ignorance of it's earlier warning , thus started trumbling even more.
Naina almost lost her balance but two pair of hands on either side, saved her life.
"Do work of your hight", naina's head snapped in the direction of door, which had disappointed her a few minutes earlier.
Kamya was standing with cross hands, leaned against the door frame.
Naina glared at her smugly face then looked on her left and right to greet swati and preeti with a wide grin.
"La idhar de", with a huff naina handover the decoration material to kamya.
As naina got down, kamya climbed up the ladder and hanged the frills.
A hand rested on Naina's shoulder and she was graced with swati's sweet smile.
Her engagement ring was shining in her finger.
Swati was married to her childhood lover and preeti was engaged.
Kamya was still looking for her Mr. Right.
Which was hardest goal to achieve.
In the span of three long years, lot of things had changed, except the hight of tiny tickled bomb.
Propping her hands on her hips , naina was huffing at the mention of her small height.
She was all set to give her friend an earful, besides of the help kamya had offered.
"Mummy", two tiny feet , approaching them, halted her session of endearment.
Naina's face lit up with a loving smile.
She knelt down and open her arms to welcome the bundle of joy.
As the little girl disappeared inside the safety of her embrace, naina pressed a warming kiss on her forehead.
The little girl squealed making naina giggle. While tilting her head, the little one's big doe eyes fixtuated on Naina.
"Mumma?", she questioned making naina tightened the hug.
"Wo andar hai Ray", she squeezed the little girl tightly in her arms and placed a kiss on her chubby cheek.
"Raina", a female voice from inside the other room made little girl sprung out of naina's embrace.
"Momy", the little one sprung out of naina's embrace and jumped towards her mother.
Her mother knelt down and open her arms, mimicking naina's action, to embrace her daughter.
