I would like to say that the next morning i woke up peacefully with my head resting on Danny's bare chest. That i was listening to his heart beating, however the truth is we are both heavy sleepers and we both needed to wake up early the next morning to get onto the tour bus. We had also both forgotton to set alarms. So the take of waking us up fell to Mark. He burst into the room at five thirty banging a pan and shouting at the top of his lungs. He slapped Danny across the face making Dan sit up suddenly meaning that my head fell onto the cold bed.

When Mark decided that we were suitably awoken he left. I groaned rolling onto my back and seeing Danny rub his eyes and red face. He put his face in his hands,

"I hate that man." Danny told me, "Why does Glen never wake me up. He is nice about it. Anyway i am going for a shower you can stay in bed for a little longer."

Danny gave me a kiss before dragging himself up and stumbing towards the shower. I just lay staring at the ceiling listening the sound of the shower and Danny's voice softly singing to himself. My peaceful lying didn't last long though the rythmic falling of shower stopped and with it Danny's singing. I sat up and watched him as he came over to the bed with a towel around his waist and using another to rub his hair dry. I laughed at him as he threw his head towel over a chair and his hair flopped over his face.

He looked down on me.

"Are you just guna sit there laughing for get dressed?" He asked

"I am unsure," i laughed since he looked even more comical when he spoke. Danny rolled his eyes and headed towards the door.

"Where are you going?" I asked

"To get some fresh clothes," he answered, "and i suggest that you get dressed."

He left and i rolled over onto my feet with a sigh and pulled some clothes. I shoved my clothes into a bag ready to move onto the bus. Bag packed i lay back onto the bed and relaxed. The sound if the door told me that Danny had returned,

"Come on," he said softly taking my bag in one hand and my hand in the other.

We were the last to arrive on the bus due to our late rising so we had last choice of bunks. There were four bunks to a wall which meant that they were quite low. Mine was right in the middle, which meant that it was the thurthest away from the light. This bothered me. After years of sleeping under the stars sleeping away from fresh air in a enclosed space scared me.

"Do you wana try your bunk?" Danny asked

"No." I sated

"Oh come on," he said, "I'll help you since yours is at the top."

"Danny..." I began but he picked me up and put me into my cage- bunk... whatever.

As soon as i entered the tight space instinct took over. All i knew was that i had to get out. My feet found the wall and fired me out of the bunk as quickly as possible. Luckily Dan was still there to catch/break my fall.

"What the...?"

"I'm sorry Dan. But i can't sleep there." I apologised helping him off the ground. He gave me a puzzled look.

"..." His mouth opened

"No. Just no. I am sorry i just can't" i told him

"Claustriphobic?" He asked gently

"I think i must be." I thought.

"Hmm, i will talk to the guys and see what we can do. Wana come?" He asked

"Okay. And i am sorry to be a bother." I said feeling guilty

Now, Danny took hold of my shoulders and turned me to face him but i looked down. He lifted my chin so that i was looking into his eyes.

"Heather, listen to me, you mean the world to me. You could never be a bother, ever and if you can't sleep there then you won't." Danny told me before pulling me to him and hugging me protectively.

He took me to the back if the bus where the guys where hanging and explained our dilema to then as the bus set off.

"Hmm," thought Glen

"Here doesn't this sofa turn into a double bed?" Mark asked

"I duno," Danny said. Then after pressing several buttons we finally managed to get a bed to appear.

"Right, Heather and I will sleep here then." Danny said, "but it can stay as a comunial area during the day."

"Okay," agreed Glen

"So long as you guys remember that we will be just there," Mark said pointing at his bunk, "so, you know... no... you know. Just sleep. Okay?"

"Don't worry mate!" Danny assured him.

We sat chatting for a while since it would be hours till we arrived at the venue. Eventually i fell asleep my head resting on Danny's arm that held me.

...

Soon enough everyone got into the rhythym of touring. Soon enough everyone got used to Rodney's snoring. It was very fufilling traveling around America and showing people my music and seeing there reaction. My life was complete; perfect guy, perfect job, perfect life. This however made me slightly uneasy since i know more than anyone that nothing lasts forever.

...

Danny and I had decided to keep our relationship between us for the time being since we both knew that the press would go mental. Expecially due to the fact that people were becoming aware of who i am. Record labels had begun to approach me wanting to sign me. I wanted none of it. I knew that i wanted the same record company was Danny and the guys.

When we finished touring i told Danny that i wanted to release a single. He booked us a studio and we went straight to work. At first progress was slow since we distracted each other alot but once we got into the swing of writing sparks began to fly. Forgetting that we only had to write a single we ended up with half an album.

Recording complete now came the hard bit; we had to decide which song to release. It took about a day to decide but we eventually settled on a song called 'Me' which is about me and my life. Thinking that it would be a good way to introduce me to the industry. We took it to the record company who gave us the shocking news that they wanted to release it tomorrow to give me the best chance in the charts. Charts? I hadn't written my music aiming for a number 1 i just wrote it to express myself.

This however didn't stop me from being nervous while listening to the chart show that weekend. I had been watching my song's progress on Itunes all week it had been floating around the top area but hadn't hit the number 1 spot.

Danny and i were sitting arms linked listening with bated breath as the chart counted down. I kept telling Dan that my song was sure to be next because it couldn't possibly be higher but i was wrong each time. Soon it came down to the final two songs, then it was announced that I was number 1. I was number one in the UK and America as it turned out.

I stared at the radio in shock. It must be lying, i was probably hearing things. I turned to face Danny who was watching my reaction with a huge smile on his face. That was when it hit me. The number 1 was my song. My song was number 1.

I was number 1.
