"Hi..." He replied looking at Glen, "..."

"..." Glen replied

"..." Mark looked at Danny now looking for an explination

"..." Danny replied

Mark looked back at me. They all looked at me mouths wide open. I looked back at them.

"Guys?" I asked

"..."

"GUYS!!!" I shouted banging the drum to catch their attention.

"Umm ye," said Danny

"What?" Glen said snapping alert and Mark just continued to stare at me.

"Say something," i begged

"You sure that you have never played the drums before?" Glen asked

"Yup-" i began

"WHAT?!?!!?!?" Mark shouted, "Never played the drums before! NEVER PLAYED THE DRUMS BEFORE!!! This is all one big practical joke right? Dan? Glen? Seriously? Where did you find this girl she has got some talent!"

"We picked her up off the streets," said Danny. Mark looked over at his as if he must be joking but saw the seriousness in his eyes.

"Its the truth Mark" said Glen

...

We had to sit Mark down and calm him down and explain everything to him. Glen did most of the talking because Danny was still staring at me in disbelief and i was a little shocked aswell.

"Right band meeting!" Announced Mark

"We dont have 'band meetings'" said Glen

"Oh well we do now Danny lets go through to the other room, Heather dont mean to be rude but... ye, Dan snap out of it come on!" Mark said dragging Danny out of the room. Glen gave me a shug and also left.

They came back in. Danny sat down and continued his stareing as if he had never left. He eyes bore into mine i had to look away i looked af Glen who was looking at Mark so i looked at Mark

"So?" I finally asked feeling like i was in an exam.

"Well," said Glen,"as we has already said you are very talented, so we are not letting you go back onto the streets."

"Yes and we were also wondering if you would like to come on tour with us as our support. We would understand if you would prefer to go straight to a record company cos we are sure that you will get a deal but we think that it would be better if you learnt a but of the trade first. Dan could teach you song writing, i could teach you about producing an album and Glen could help you with your instruments. I mean we could all teach you all of that but you know... So what do you say?" Mark asked

"I say... Ummm i... I'll come on tour with you cos i find it difficult to trust people so i would like to start there and i can see the logic in it."

"Great!" Shouted Danny taking me by surprise and jumping to his feet with excitement then leaning down to hug me. "I'll go and call the tour manager!" he sang leaving the room. I glanced over at Glen shocked and he yet again shrugged, " We have never understood Danny's behaviour either" he told me.
