"10:58! Come on!" Arthur weasley yelled at his children
"The train will be leaving any moment!" Molly weasley yelled into the chaos
"Fred, George, Percy you first!"
The weasley family along with Y/n and Harry were at King's Cross station. They were running pretty late, having only two minutes to run through the brick wall into platform 9 3/4 and board the Hogwarts express.
Ginny carefully ran through the wall as well, her parents following soon after her. Y/n, Ron and Harry were left last to go through the magical barrier
"Let's go" Harry said and both his friends nodded silently
The three of them grabbed their trolleys steadily and ran for it, knowing that they would smoothly pass through the wall into Platform 9 3/4 without feeling a thing. That wasn't the case though. The three of them, one after the other, crashed into the wall they were supposed to be able to go through. Their trolleys all fell sideways, as everyone around King's Cross stopped walking and stood there looking at the trio in confusion and worry.
"Oi what do you think you're doing?" A man dressed in fancy uniform and hat said, he probably worked at the station
"S-S-Sorry, lost-um-lost control of the trolley" harry said
The man shook his head and left them alone once again
"I remember this bloke from last year, what a git" muttered Y/n, rubbing her elbow
"Yeah, git" Ron chuckled along with Y/n
"Hey!" Harry whisper-yelled at Ron and Y/n who were having a proper giggling fit
"Oh sorry harry- What is it?" Y/n said gaining her composure again and looking serious
"Why can't we get through?" Harry said worried, Ron was frowning now as well
"I dunno the gateway's sealed itself for some reason" Ron said touching the wall
Then they heard the clock. The three had missed the train, it leaves at eleven o'clock.
"We bloody missed it" muttered Y/n
"Wait, if we can't get through, maybe mum and dad can't come back" Ron frowned even more now
"Maybe we should just go and wait by the car" suggested harry
"Yes! And when they come back we can send an owl to the school saying we missed the train" Y/n added making harry nod, but Ron was looking at the floor skeptically
"Hold up, did you say the car?" Ron said
"Ron no-" Y/n said worriedly
"Oh my god! Oh my god! We are going to die Ron and it's all going to be your fault!" Y/n yelled from the back seat of the famous Ford Anglia
They were above the ground now, Ron driving and Harry riding shotgun.
"Now all we need to do is find the Hogwarts express" Ron said avoiding Y/n's antics
