Hope POV
Today is the day I finally go to Hogwarts.
I can't wait , but at the same time, I couldn't be more nervous. Only the second werewolf to roam the school's corridors, as a student anyway. Not that I will be completely registered in school.
We had to only register me for the most needed things, for the safety of both myself and the school we had to place certain precautions. For example: selective registration and me going by the name Hope Lupin as to not being attention to my Black family heritage or my middle name. See, I went by Libra in the pack (at age 6 some of his followers stole me whilst me and my dad were sleeping, I was there for a year and a half until my dad found me) and obviously in the newspapers.
I hadn't really packed yet, since the full moon was 2 days ago, so I did now.
In my trunk I packed:
- 3 sets of plain black work robes
- 1 plain black pointed hat
- 1 pair of protective dragon hide gloves
- 1 black winter cloak with metal fastenings- The Standard Book of Spells (grade 1) by Miranda Goshawk
- A History of Magic by Bathilda Bagshot
- Magical Theory by Adalbet Waffling
- A Beginners Guide in Transfiguration by Emeric Switch
- One Thousand Magical Herbs and Fungi by Phyllida Spore
- Magical Drafts and Potions by Arsenous Jugger
- Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them by Newt Scamander
- The Dark Forces: A Guide to Self Preservation by Quentin Trimble- 1 wand
- 1 standard size, pewter cauldron
- 1 set of glass vials
- 1 set of brass scales
- 1 telescope- Normal, everyday clothes
- Bandages
- Potions ( silver burn, healing)
- Books
- Prank Stuff
- Shoes ( smart and casual)
- Some MoneyOnce all that was packed I dragged my trunk downstairs. I then went back upstairs to get dressed.
After me and Remus eat we head to the train station via floo.
"Don't forget the rules, don't tell anyone, no using your powers, don't get caught pranking, try and find the map, let me know your house and hopefully, your mate as soon as possible," Remus said.
"I know the rules," I say, slightly annoyed.
"Just reminding you, get on the train before you're late, and don't do anything stupid," he says.
"I'd never do anything stupid," I reply. He just gives that look, the one that screams 'really'.I walk onto the train, trunk in tow.
A/N: First actual chapter, hope you like.
