Once Upon a Fairy Tale (A Kendall Schmidt Fanfic)

Chapter 15..... What once was, may never be again...

Kendall's POV….

 "Kendall I still don't think this is a good idea." The short Latino boy better known as Carlos says as he gives me the death stare in front of me. I turn slightly to the side thinking… Maybe he's right.

                I see their car pulling out.  The tires seem to move slowly, but the bodies inside the vehicle seem to move so fast. Laurens head turns slightly and her look kills me.  Christy catches on and the window begins to roll up. I feel my heart fall out and onto the ground because know I'm letting her go alone.

"Dude, come on" James says as he puts his hand on my shoulder. I turn back and shake my head. We start walking to the elevator to go up and get the rest of our belongings so we can get ready to leave. Logan is talking with Carlos a few feet in front of us, while James is walking and comforting me.

"Look, you'll be back with her before long. The sooner she left, the faster you'll be back together"

"I know, but I feel bad. She doesn't even know what's going on" He stops and turns me to face him.

"It's best that she doesn't."

"But that's just it, what if he's smarter then we think and what if he's out there waiting for her to snap her back?"

"He's not" He reassures me.

"James, I think I made the wrong choice"

"Look, if you wouldn't have texted Dustin last night when you knew she'd come with you, she wouldn't be one step closer to safety. You didn't make the wrong choice. We’re going to get him arrested dude. Nothing else is going to happen"

"I sure hope so" I let out. He nods and we start walking to catch the elevator Logan was holding open.

"Did you call Chris and tell him we’re not going to make the show tomorrow" Logan asks as we step inside.

"Dustin took care of it" James breathes out as the doors close. We ride the elevator up fifteen flights and I start tuning everything out. I only pay attention when a sudden voice surprises me.

"So how exactly are we going to lure Isaac to California" Carlos hisses.

"I'll figure it out" I declare back.

"See! This isn't going to work Kendall! Not only Lauren's going to be effected, but he's going to get Christy too!" He practically yells at my face. He grows closer to me and I thought for a second he was going to punch my face in. Logan grabs him and pulls him back.

"You don't know that Carlos!" James yells as he grabs my arm because I started growing closer to Carlos with anger built up in me.

"He shouldn't even have brought that damn girl back!" He yells throwing his hand up in the air.

"Why!?Why shouldn't I? I'm not going to let him kill her just to protect your stupid girlfriend. Lauren is who I love!"

"You don't love her! She was someone you couldn't have and that's the only reason you claim to "love" her!"  He demands are he puts air quotes around the word "Love"

"That's not true!"

"Are you sure about that Kendall! You never wanted her until you couldn't have her, but the one chance you got she left you! Don't you get it? She doesn't want you and you don't want her!"

Rage takes over and my hands ball into fists.  I try my hardest not to ring the boys neck. James is pulling me back while both him and Logan are trying to break up this fight up. I jerk out of James grip right into Carlos's face. Luckily the doors open and I make him flinch before storming off in the hallway. I walked toward our room but passed it completely. I found the stairs and continued down till I hit the main room in the lobby. A water fountain lies in front of the check in area with a lounge area directly beside it. I walk over and spread out onto the black couch.  I had everything rushing through my mind. I knew I loved Lauren, but was it because she didn't want me? She did love me right? Of course she did, why else would she come with me considering that she's putting herself in danger? I know no matter what though; my main prospect is to do what I have planned in my mind. I need to get Isaac far out of sight and give him what he deserves. I close my eyes for awhile and I must have dosed off.
