Sitting on the couch reading was the best past time....

Wait... that is deja vu man.

Anyway, that is what you were doing. Reading as the idiots of the house sled down the stairs on a mattress.

Well maybe not all the idiots. Green, Blue and Edge have taken to sitting around the living room as their brothers do whatever to their bodies because no way in hell those stairs are meant for sledding.

You hear thumping and yells of either shock are enjoyment. Never looking up from your book, turning the page when you hear Red tumble off the run down mattress and the stairs landing with a grunt. Edge scuffs and crosses his arms, Blue had a deadpan like expression as the others die of laughter.

Gaster and you had been living here just a little under a year, this chaos was normal, day to day.

What wasn't normal was the looks Frisk gave you when you visit Toriel.

It was like they stare at you waiting for something, sometimes they seem anxious. But most times normal.

Toriel loved when you visit, sadly she was once again with fluffy king and you had to get a grip on your soul when you go over there for parties.

Gaster couldn't be more happy about their relationship, he said it was like when he was younger, before they had their son, reminded him of fonder days.

You couldn't bring yourself to hate on it after being told that. You didn't want to ruin it for him.

With a sigh you close your book and watch the humans a while having fun before teleporting off to Grillbys for a while, you needed some alone time.

Frisk sat at the table sipping their tea as Toriel hung laundry in the backyard.

They had a working drier but she loves being outside so much she rather use the laundry hanger, drier was for raining laundry days.

Frisk had asked you to come over so you could talk with them.

But they were more preoccupied with their tea at the moment, sipping it like they were thirsty as could be.

"Kid...." siiiip "Kid." sip sip "Kid!"

Frisk jumped and looked up at you from behind their bangs.

You let out a sigh and lean back in your chair. "Why did you text me to come here?"

"We need to talk." They speak softly. Setting their cup down and shifting in their chair to get comfy.

Oh great...

"About.. ya know... the resets, Gaster, all that, I am sure you have a few questions about it." They play with the sleeves of their sweater.

"More then a few." You lean back watching them fidget. "Go ahead kid, start from the beginning. I want to know it all, get this all out in the open."

They nod and start talking.
