40. Confusion

When all the commotion was going outside the other guys aside from Gin and Sul are sleeping happily.

It seems like whatever happens outside they can't hear it very much.

Vic's room - filled with gaming equipment and music instruments three guys can be seen sleeping messily. Two guys on bed and one guy sprawled on a bean bag with a game console in his hand. They are none other than Jay, Jim and Vic.

Jay and Jim after playing for a while felt lazy to go to their rooms and slept on Vic's bed. They don't even bothered when Vic protested.

Seeing them not hearing his words he gave up and let them be, then he played for a while.

Just as he was fighting the final boss suddenly his laptop lit up. His personal AI named as Nikki alerted with red light.

"Master, intruder alert. East of the backyard a group of ten people approaching stealthily. Two security guards incapacitated. Other security guards are present at the front region"

"There is a car at the villa gate. A female person in the car is conversing with the security in the front"

"According to data that female is identified as Seargent  Hopewood who visited the villa today"

"Does master want me to alert the hidden security near the villa? "
Nikki asked in her mechanical tone.

Vic on hearing that quickly stopped the game and saw the security camera footage. He already hacked into Lucy's software as soon as she installed it. It should be said it was quite difficult for him in the start cause of Lucy's AI Light's firewalls. Still he found a loophole and hacked in.

At that time a charming smile can be seen on Vic's he was both suprised and proud of Lucy's software development. Afterall he has seen her grow from getting beaten in seconds to having difficulty in hacking her software.

Vic saw the camera footage and frowned a little. He saw the group of people approaching and also Sony talking with security at the villa gate. He was suprised to see her here at this time. He thought it must be Lucy alerted her of the group approaching but the timing seems to be off. He thought a little and said,

"Tell the hidden security to be ready for adverse situation but don't let them enter the villa. I will give the signal when they need to enter"

"Also Nikki can u identify the group of people entering?"
Nikki on hearing she started to analyse the faces of the group because of poor lighting and covered faces she couldn't configure them.

"Master, I couldn't configure the faces" Nikki replied.

Vic tapped the keyboard a little and said  "Capture their faces in every angle during this period."
"Also show me all security cameras in the villa. Maximise the footage in which the intruders are present and alert me if u sense any movement in other areas"

Nikki affirmed and started displaying the cameras.

Vic got up and went to charge his phone which was dead who knows when. He was so immersed in gaming that he didn't even see that. As he powered up the phone he saw there are few missed calls from his brother.

On seeing that he wanted to call him but seeing that it's past midnight and he probably must be resting and went to chat. He saw a text from his brother saying that the shares has been bought. He suprised a little and raised his brow and a little smile can be seen at the corner of his lips.

"Seems like cutie encountered a hard rock this time." He mumbled lightly with a little smile. Just as he was about to reply to that message Nikki suddenly notified him.
