7. New Case

Colby after being ordered by Casper  went to find Lucy.

Lucy was thier unit's cyber crime specialist hired privately by thier Chief.

She was also thier unit lieutenant's junior and seargent's bestfriend.

Colby just entered the room given to Lucy. He was greeted by anime playing on the main screen by projector and Lucy eating potato chips watching intently.

Seeing this Colby's mouth twitched so hard he couldn't help but say,
"Senior, watching anime in the middle of the work is not professional"

Lucy turned her head and spoke innocently,
"Can't I?"

Lucy with her twin tails and turquoise apricot eyes looked cute to the boot.

Seeing her look like that Colby couldn't find any words to say. He said,
"But the security vigilance?"

Lucy immediately said,
"Light was taking care of it."

Colby could only say,
"Th..then you can"

Lucy gave him a cute smile and turned to watch anime.

Colby immediately came to senses and said,
"No you can't senior. Lieutenant has work wor you"

Lucy turned and asked,
"Can't you give to light?"

Colby really want to shake some into her and say - senior, they are paying you money ahhh, not to light!!!.

He sighed and asked her,
"Do I have the permission to ask it. It only listens to you. No"

Lucy hearing this and said,
"Hehe, I forgot"

Light was the artificial intelligence created by Lucy. It only listens to Lucy. Only in the absence of Lucy by using a code it will listen to whoever it gives.

Lucy stopped the anime and asked by sighing,
"Tell me, what is it Colby?"

Colby quickly said,
"It's a kidnap case, lieutenant want to you to track this number"

He gave Lucy the number given by Casper.

Lucy took it and said,
"Light, quickly track this number and everything related to it"

Light responded,
"Yes Lucy"

*System processing*

Colby still feel surprised everytime it does.

Just as the process is going on, they heard someone enter the room.

Sony greeted them by saying,
"Hey cutie, hey Colby"

Lucy replied,
"Haha, you have come. Senior should feel very vexed by you"

Colby said,
"Sarge, you really owe me one this time. Please, don't ask me to cover for you again"

Sony said while laughing,
"Ok ok, I'll treat you to dinner later"

"Little cutie, you are not any less. Don't think I don't know what you are doing here"

"See, there are chips and the screen is on. Haha"

Lucy cheekily smiled,
"Hehe"

Colby watching this really wanted to think of his life choices - why aren't there are any normal people in my unit ah.

Light completed the trace and responded,
"Trace found. Address: industrial area, abandoned chemical factory."

Lucy replied,
"Thanks light. I will increase your firewalls next time"
