I felt hungry. I walked to the kitchen, deciding what to cook.  I took out all the ingredients I saw and just simply cooked it. When I was settling my food on the plate, I heard the sound of someone slamming the main door. I was startled as shit.

I quietly settled the things, not making a sound. With my heart beating fast, I tiptoed back to the living room. My eyes widened when I saw my boyfriend, Kai that I havent met for 2 weeks sitting on the couch.

"Kai!" I shouted. I sat next to him and hugged him.  Instead of responding, he let out an annoyed groan. I frowned. "Babe, you okay?" I asked in concern. But all I got as a reply was his cold and unhappy face.

I then realized there was this smell.

Alcohol and perfume. Many thoughts wandered around my mind. There were no positive ones, just negative. 

I studied Kai's face. It was slightly red.

"Kai, did you drank?" I asked in a serious tone. He knows I hate alcohol.

"Can you let me rest? Cant you see how tired I am? Leave me alone," He said, super irritated. My heart broke.

We didnt see each other for 2 weeks and now he's home but he has this attitude. The attitude that I dont even know he has. The attitude that I never expect he'd use on me.

"Okay, I'll prepare the things for you to take a shower," I said and got up. I went up to our room and opened the watertap. A tear rolled down my cheek but I quickly wiped it away.

He's just tired. Yeah..

I prepared his pyjamas and towel. With a slight fear, I went back to Kai.

"Kai, you can take a shower now," I said, nicely. "Im going out," He said, coldly. My expression changed. "Its late, Jong In,"

"Im not your baby,okay?" He shot me a look. "THEN WHY'D YOU COME HOME?!" I shouted in anger. He didnt answer me.

"Why do you always make me feel tired and burdened?"

His words hit me like thunder.

"Can you stop? Your being annoying and clingy. Why cant I get out even when its late? Girls like this,"

He's angry.

"Kai, dont you know how much I've missed you?" I said, my voice loud but full of hurt.

"Im annoying? The nights how bad I want to skype or call you, I'd always say to myself that its better to let you rest. The sleepless nights where I spend by just thinking about you. Its been 2 weeks since I didnt see you, dont you miss me? Im your girlfriend for pete's sake. You come home with this bullshit habit, How'd you think I'd feel, huh?!"

With anger, he pushed me against the wall. I was shocked.

"Are you saying I dont treat you well enough?" His voice was stern and furious.

"I never said that." I shot back.

"And do you realize this is the first time you've hurt me physically?" He was shocked to see red liquid flowing down on the white wall. "B-b-abe," he stuttered. "Dont touch me,"

I pushed him and ran to our room. I slammed the door and locked it. I cried as I entered the toilet to wash off the blood.

"Why, Kai..,"

I washed my face and dried my hair. I went out from the toilet. Someone was bangging the door, desperate for me to open it. "Babe, please open the door," He pleaded. "Are you okay? What are you doing now?" He asked in a pleading voice.

Tears began to roll again. I scoffed.

I opened the door and saw his face.

"You wanted to go out, right? Go then. I really dont mind anymore," I said in a cold voice.

No, please. Stay at home..

He tempted to approach me but I took a step back. "Stay away from me,"  I said in low voice but loud enough for him to hear. My tears were forming again.

"I've missed you, Kai,"

His expression showed sadness and guilt.

"Babe," He said.

"Oh, Im still your babe?"  I said and scoffed. "You have no idea how I wanna kill you right now," I said in a dead voice.

"But at the same time, I just wanna hug you,"  My tears finally roll down.  I wiped it away and went out from the room, walking pass Kai. He stopped me by grabbing my arm. "Where are you going? Its late,"

"A place far from you," I yanked his hand away and went down the stairs. "If you go out now, were over," He threatened me. I instantly stopped in my tracks.

I turned my back around and saw his face.

His words echoed in my mind again.

"Why do you always make me feel tired and burdened?"

I let out a scoff. "Goodbye, Jong In," I said and walked out from the house. As I closed the door, I sobbed. I ran as fast as I can, hoping to go far away.

I calmed myself down at an abandoned lake. I hear nothing but my own cries and sniffs.
