You weren't planning on becoming one of the most popular girls in my class, at least you told me, but some things you can't avoid. Sometimes you'd be my friend, which were awesome times. We'd do singing contests in my room, and makeovers in yours. You'd always rather have sleepovers at my place, because at home you had this strict bedtime curfew of 7 or 8 pm. We loved doing taste tests too, putting random things from the pantry on teaspoons, and blindfold ourselves. We learned not to do it while we were both blindfolded, since it would be a total mess.

Sometimes you'd rather be with the other girls though, for different reasons each time. Like you once told me you could be better friends with me than anyone else, and later accused me of bragging to your other friends about it. I'd always be really sad when you left, but was always really quick to forgive once you decided to hang out again. I don't think we ever stopped liking each other really, we just stopped seeing each other after we left Primary. But one time when I was waiting for your mom -she's given me extra help with math for a couple of years- you came out, and you invited me onto the trampoline, and we jumped and talked for a bit. That's how I know we have the kind of relationship to quickly fall back into what we had, should we want to.

If you'd ever read this, I'd want you to know I'm glad you managed to part from the other girls, because you didn't want to be like that. It's not because they were always mean to me, just because you've found your own friends and style, and I respect people like you.

So, how about you? Remember me?
