Sawyer's p.o.v

Today was mine and my sisters birthday we was turning fourteen we had our family all here even the whole town was celebrating it would be soon where they would want shailene to take the throne I don't want it and as I look at shailene they sing us happy birthday and we blow out the candles and I make a wish all the things that happened went by like a blur I still call axel dad he's always been my dad and then it was time to eat cake and then open presents and me and shailene sat next to each other while mom took pictures of us and then the last box I opened was a medium size box and when I opened it I seen a picture of a man who wasn't my dad he had light blonde hair and brown eyes he had his arm around my moms waist I started to tremble is that him?.

 shailene looks at me and she says "oh no" I look up at her and my mom and dad turn around they was talking to sora and riku and shailene says "moma dad" she points to the picture and roxas grabs it from my hand and I ask "is that him?" mom looked like he was gonna be sick he nodds and axel says "what does the card say?" I grab the card on the inside of the box and it read "hey son hows your mom? I hope he's fine it wasn't hard to figure out since your grandmother is still on the loose I hope to see you soon love dad" my hands start to shake and my dad see's my face and shailene says "listen to me he's not gonna hurt you he would have to get through me".

 I grab her hand and mom he looked distraught and I say "mom? he's not dead you lied again" I stand up and walk away from everyone and when I get to my room I hear a knock at my door and I say "go away" the door opens and closes and I was expecting mom but it wasn't mom it was dad "he actually thought your father was dead even I did in the prison word got out that he tortured your mom and they burned him but the body they found with his i.d number on it wasn't his body we didn't know I swear son".

 I take a deep breath and I say "I just why did he do this? he practically ruined everything for me and shailene this was supposed to be a happy day for us but no he had to ruin that" he places his hand onto my shoulder and he says "its ok son" my hands start to tremble and I say "he scares me dad" he nodds and he wraps me in a hug and I say "so he's for sure out of prison" I stand up and me and dad walk outside I walk up to mom and hug him and I whisper "I'm sorry I overreacted" he smiles and kisses my forehead and he says "he is not gonna touch you I won't let him" I wipe away the tears from my eyes and then my best guy friend Dominic I call him niko he's my best friend he walks up to me and he says "hey lets talk come on" I nodd and he grabs my wrist and he whispers "lets dance" he was a few inches taller than me I grab his hand and place my other hand on his shoulder and I smile and he says "listen I know what your thinking".

I cock an eyebrow like oh really he smiles and he had light brown hair "your thinking you want this to stop and how you think this is your fault what happened to your mom" he really did know what I was thinking is he inside my head? I smile and he says "see I can read you like a book" I take my other hand and wrap my arms around his neck his hands go to my waist and he says "its not your fault ok? and let me tell you something that man has never been your father or dad he waits fourteen years to send you a birthday card? he's not winning father of the year that man right there".

 He looks at axel my dad I smile "he's your dad he spent the time changing your diapers feeding you playing with you when you said dada for the first time who was there? oh thats right he was" I nodd and I look up at him his beautiful blue eyes meeting my brown "you truly are my best friend" he smiles and he replies "I know your mom and dad don't like me do they?" I snicker and shake my head and he grins from ear to ear "I figured that they can't see past the leather jacket and the motorcycle can they?".
