Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Power

Chapter 1: The First Day at Work

     "Arrgh, I'm tired" Houndour complained as Archen shook him awake.

     "Too bad, the rest of the team is calling" Archen shouted. 

     Houndour grunted but got up. Garchomp was going to be mad. They were late to their first day with the team.  When they got the the grassland, Garchomp was started the lesson. "Why are you to late!" he screeched. Archen and Houndour scratched their head. "Um... well... we... uh..." they stammered. Garchomp was not impressed. "Next time, you two would be suspended for two weeks!" Everyone in the team froze. "Garchomp scares me sometimes." Buizel murmured.

     "Now, as I was saying, you have to treat the group members as your family. Things have gone tense. Now that a mysterious Pokemon has stolen seven Jade Orbs. We all know that the orbs sustain the Pokemon powers, right?" Garchomp informed. The team nodded their head. "We have to split up and have partners for this expedition." Everyone stayed silent. Garchomp took out a list "Houndour and Archen." He announced first. Houndour looked at Archen and smiled. "Buizel and Ponyta" Everyone stayed silent. "Weedle and Primape. Wobbuffet and Crawdaunt" Primape screamed. "You're kidding me right, I have to go with a dope like Weedle?" "If you're insisting that I am a dope, how about you go off on your own" Weedle yelled.

     "EVERYONE MUST STAY WITH THEIR PARTNER!" Garchomp screamed. Again, the team fell silent.  "Start your training, we are going into the dungeons tomorrow. You also have to choose a team name with your partner. Oh, one more announcement. The team will now be called Garchomp's Guild.

     Everyone headed off to their training stations. "I wonder what that was all about. I mean, we already know this stuff other than the partners." Archen squawked. Houndour shrugged.

     "Welcome to the dodging training center!" Drifloon said cheerfully.

     Houndour and Archen walked in. a cannonball flew at Archen and he dodged it. "Are you trying to kill me!" Archen scolded. Drfloon hit the button again. This time Houndour used ember and it broke. "Nice counter-move" Drifloon complimented. "We need to come up with a team name" Houndour said as he incinerated another cannonball. Archen thought. "How about... Team Phoenix!" Houndour hesitated. "Sure!" Houndour thought that Archen didn't put any thought into the name but when he realized that he was fire type and Archen was a bird, he understood. "Nice one, I just caught on what it meant" Houndour laughed.

     Boom! "What was that!" Archen yelled. "Bwa ha ha ha" Azumarill shouted. "You didn't think I would let you go like that, did you." he laughed. Garchomp entered the room as Drifloon fled. "What is all this fuss, Azumarill? You were a good friend of mine before." Azumarill just laughed his evil laugh. "What is the fuss, what is the fuss? Garchomp, you have no idea how strong I am now. i came for the 4 Jade Orbs here. Bwa ha ha ha ha ha." Azumarill bellowed.

     "I'm not afraid of you." Garchomp said.

     "I challenge you, Garchomp." Azumarill laughed.

     "Guildmaster, can we help?" Houndour and Archen asked.

     "I got this, get in your rooms" he replied.

     "But-" Archen started.

     "I got this!" Garchomp said again.

     "Are you guys done, let's start this battle!" Azumarill interrupted as Houndour and Archen left the room. Even though the got out of the room, they were still behind the door. Garchomp used Take Down. "Why would he do that, it hurts him, too." Houndour asked Archen. "He says he knows what he is doing, leave him alone." Archen replied. Azumarill used Water Pulse to counter the attack. "I knew you would do that." Garchomp muttered. Garchomp swing aside in the middle of the Take Down and avoided the Water Pulse. He spun up and usedFly. "Whoh, I didn't know Garchomp can do that!" Archen whispered.

     Azumarill flung back and Garchomp used hit the ground. "Had enough yet?' Azumarill questioned. Garchomp got mad and used Dragon Rage. Azumarill, once again, jumped back. This time, he hit the button on the machine and a cannonball flew out. The cannonball hit Garchomp and he got knocked out.

     "Bwa ha ha. I told you I was getting better." Azumarill laughed. Houndour secretly threw Garchomp a max revive. By the time, Azumarill noticed what happened, it was too late. Garchomp got up and the smile on Azumarill's face turned into a frown. A dashing Garchomp was already charged. Azumarill flew and crashed out of the tent. As Azumarill fled he yelled "I will be back, you idiot!"

     Garchomp fell on the floor and the rest of the guild ran over to him. "I'm fine, just exhasted" Garchomp smiled.

     "You did an awesome job, Guildmaster!" Weedle squeeked.

     "You would have died." Primape snapped.

     "All of you  should probably go to bed. It is getting late and we have a big day tomorrow." Garchomp said.

     Everyone went back to their room. "Do you think that we are ready for the adventure" Archen asked. "Of course we are, Archen. We will always be." Houndour replied. "Good Night" And both of them dozed off...
