Y/N's P.O.V

JungKook and I tumbled in through the front door, after jamming the keys in the lock and jiggling them about aimlessly for a while, both toppling over shoes scattered on the floor. JungKook landed on his ass and looked up at me like a deer in headlights – deep scarlet blush dusting the tips of his ears and nose. Whether it was because he was drunk or because he was embarrassed, I couldn't tell. I stared back at him just as mortified, before we both started obnoxiously snickering.

I put a finger to my lips, serving both purposes for him to be quiet and to stifle the giggles bubbling up in my tummy. He nodded and held his hand out for me to help him up.

After fighting the clasps of shoes that clung to my ankles whilst hopping down the corridor, we tip-toed into the living room. The moment I saw the dancing sofa I slumped on it, manspreading in all my drunken glory.

The sound of rustling garnered my attention (regretfully so) as I turned to face the source and received a couch pillow smack to the face. Un-scrunching my nose as the pillow landed into my eyes, I looked up to see a wobbly JungKook silently laughing his ass off, smacking his knee a little too theatrically. I jumped up, ready to launch the pillow back at him with twice the force. He braced for impact immediately.

Just as I was pulling my arm back to launch an over-arm throw, the lights switched on in JungKook's dorm, and the pillow once perched in my hand falls to the floor. JungKook, upon not feeling a hit land, opens his eyes. Our eyes meet briefly before flickering to a tense figure standing by the light switch. Standing in all his sleepy, slightly irritated glory, was Hoseok. His eyebrow twitched as I swore, I saw a vein pop in his head.

"Psst- Y/N..." Kook side-whispered to me, "If we don't move, he won't see us."

I pursed my lips, breaking a sweat trying not to ruin our cover. My eyes started watering with held-back tears of laughter.

Hoseok froze, getting a grasp of the scenario unravelling in front of him. Sighing in disbelief, he turned the lights back off and trudged back upstairs, assumedly, to bed. He placed the emergency bat in his hand by the foot of the stairs on the way.

Turning back to look at JungKook, the giggles bubbled back up again – or maybe it was the champagne - as we both resumed to silently laughing at anything.

He danced his way somewhere as I slumped myself back on the moving sofa. I pulled my phone out from my bag and sent my mum a quick text to tell her I was staying out for the night at a friend's. She sent a goodnight text back and I turned my phone off by the time JungKook had returned with a blanket.

He chucked it at me all dodgy, "Y/N?"

"Hm?" I hummed as I lay on the sofa and tucked myself in to the blanket.

"Promise me you will think about what I said?"

"Mmhm..." I nodded as I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.

All I heard was silence for a while then footsteps retreating up the stairs. I didn't miss the sound of a stumble as they did so.

YoonGi's P.O.V.

I turned over to see JiMin (yesterday's date, not my roommate) coming back in my room with her hair tied neatly back and wearing only my shirt and panties. I smiled at her nonchalantly, thanking her for the previous events that occurred last night.

She returned the gesture and picked up yesterday's outfit, changing back into it as she spoke, "I don't expect a romantic relationship to come from this, you know..."

I looked up at her curiously from my bed, waiting for her to continue wherever she was going with that sentence.

"...But I wouldn't mind doing... this... again." She gave a sultry look at me, making me think-

"I might just take you up on that offer."

She laughed, "Alright, thanks for the hospitality, but I should really get going now."

I nodded and got out of bed. She asked where the bathroom was to freshen up before she went, I pointed her in the direction before grabbing my dressing gown and then heading downstairs to grab some breakfast.

Soft snoring made me freeze in the middle of the staircase. Looking to find the culprit, I saw a mop of hair and a unusually familiar silhouette snoozing on the sofa. I felt a slight drop in my stomach as I crept down the rest of the way. I craned my neck to get a closer peak at the face hidden under the mop of hair as I stood at the sofa. My stomach twisted completely when I saw it was Y/N.

What the fuck is she doing here? Was she looking for me? Does she want to get back together? Did she... hook up with someone else?

I frowned at the latter thought: she had always been suspiciously close with Taehyung. Maybe...

She tossed innocently in her sleep, awakening a reoccurring guilt in me for thinking that way... I was one to talk.

The creaking of floorboards snapped me out of my thoughts. JiMin walked loudly downstairs, making me cringe inwardly.

Sounds of stirring made my eyes widen with panic, snapping my attention from JiMin to Y/N as she started to wake up-

OhGod. Y/N is waking up, and the girl I slept with is coming downstairs and I slept with her, and Y/N saw I was on a date with her and she's wearing the same outfit as she saw JiMin in so she will know that I slept with her, and she will see that and she will get hurt again- god OH GOD I AM AN IDIOT.

I awkwardly smiled at JiMin as she picked up her shoes and grabbed her by the shoulders before thanking her whilst ushering her out of the front door. I slammed it shut amidst the flurry of shit that just occurred, cringing furthermore as I realised, I was trying not to be suspicious.

I pressed my head against the door, the feeling of my sweat sticking to the cool surface. I gulped, praying Y/N did not see. All the times I had been in a scenario like this came crashing to the front of my mind. The only thing I could see behind my closed eyes was her sad eyes. They always looked so tired; so disappointed.

I exhaled as I straightened up and turned to face the music.

Y/N was sat up, rubbing her half-closed eyes with a confused expression pressed into her face, "YoonGi?"

I stood up like a sore thumb, eyes wide and alert.

"What are you doing...?" She asked, still sleepy.

"I... just got a parcel!" I nodded.

She looked at me for a solid seven seconds, each one feeling like a decade under her stare – I wasn't sure if it was a confused stare or a suspicious stare until she nodded and accepted my excuse.

Phew... She didn't see...

Y/N's P.O.V

I nodded in acceptance of his excuse. I shouldn't make a scene; we aren't together anymore and he's not my responsibility.

So why does it still hurt when I see him sneaking around with girls still?
