Ch.38

It was another day of being stuck in the dorms, Class 1A was restless. They just wanted to know what these wizard games were about, and they wanted to see it too. They were getting sick of being locked away in a dorm. Their prayers were answered when Roman, Mimi, and vexon entered the dorm.

"Hey, guys!" Mimi smiled.

"Thank god you guys came. Things were getting kind of boring here," Denki smiled.

"I could imagine, so we managed to convince the headmistress to let you watch the Wizard games with use-"

"But we have to find a place for you to watch that is away from everyone else. Cause you know, no humans allowed," Vexon said cutting off Roman.

"Of course," the class sighed. 

"Aww, don't look so sad. I made everyone's cloaks, like the ones we wear. You'll blend in and no one would be the wiser," Mimi smiled as she held up a pile of clothes.

Everyone happily dawned their school disguises and followed the crowd of students outside of the school, through a forest, and arriving at a giant lake. While the student body boarded some boats to head to some tall floating platforms.  Mimi and Class 1A made their way over to the opposite side of the lake to a nice shady spot under some trees. 

Everyone settled down as Momo made a wide picnic mat for everyone to sit on, as the headmaster made her way to the stage. The crowds from the school cheered as the games were about to commence.

"So Mimi what is the first challenge going to be? A race of some kind?" Mina asked.

"It's probably gonna be some cool magic race right?" Denki asked too.

"Yes, this year I believe is a flight race," Mimi smiled.

"Flight race, so flying on a broom?" Ochaco asked.

"That is one way to go about it. But the main point of the games is to show a wizard's skill and wide range of magic. So it is highly encouraged to find other means of completing the task," Vexon explained.

"But this year it's different. Ms.Kazuko will be chosen at random for a specific spell. If the contestants can't perform the said spell, they simply fall last in the trial," Roman added.

"Ooh, this is so exciting!" Hagakure squealed.

"and the spell is," The announcer paused as Ms.Kazuko pulled out a feather. " Lapsae Alis!"

Kazuko pointed her wand to the clouds as a spark shot towards the sky. Just over the heads of the champions, the spark exploded into a swarm of feathers. Each feather is from a different species of bird and flying creature. The racers quickly pointed their wands at a feather and spoke the spell.

Aspasia quickly sprouted the wings of a hummingbird and quickly took to the sky. Y/n quickly pointed her wand at a random feather and too sprouted wings. Class 1A watched in awe as all the contestants sprouted wings and take to the air.

As Y/n flapped her wings as hard as she could to try to catch up to the lead. Then suddenly she felt a sudden weight on her back, pushing her down towards the water. Y/n looked up to see a Hogwarts champion trying to push her down into the water and out of the race. She tried to flap her wings harder, but the opponent just pushed down harder.
