Ch.24

"It is all my fault, that Isamu is gone. It was my fault that the hero lost his quirk," Eri mumbled to herself as she held a ripped piece of Lemillions cape.

OverHaul was making his escape with Eri as the cement pillar they stood on rose u to the ceiling hole. Eri peaked up from the cape to see a blue transparent wolf pup. Her eyes widened as she recognized that pup, Isamu's wolf pup. Its tail wagged happily as it ran around her and stood near the edge looking down. Eri slowly edged closer to the side and as the green hero boy following them.

"They know you're in danger, and they'll do whatever they have to. To save you," Isamu's words echoed.

"They won't give up, not until I'm safe. Even if that means they'll die. Like you Isamu," Eri said as she looked over to the Patronus wolf pup.

The pup leaped over the edge and Eri quickly followed as she fell into Deku's arms. She could feel Izuku's warm ad kind hands on the back of her head. And in a blur, Deku shot up high into the air using 100%. As Eri stared back down into the hole, she could have sworn she saw him. Isamu, slightly injured and smiling sadly as he grew smaller and smaller, as they got further away, waving her goodbye.

"Isamu, Wait!"

"Ready to go Isamu," Vexon asked.

"No, but okay," Isamu sobbed.

"What's wrong Isamu?" Vexon asked.

"I-I never got to say goodbye to Eri," Isamu cried.

Mimi's heartbroken as she knelt down and pulled the poor boy into a hug. Y/n's eye's welled up with tears at the sight.

"Vexon maybe we can stick around a little longer," Y/n suggested.

"What why. Won't we get in trouble for doodling around and not returning right away," Vexon pointed out.

"Can we... Can we let Isamu have a proper goodbye?" Mimi asked.

"Let Isamu say goodbye to his friend before he comes with use," Y/n suggested.

With a sigh, Vexon agreed and went to look for Roman before they were caught by the authorities.

It was a few hours after the raid when the hero's arrested Overhaul. Know we were chasing a police truck with our target. Things went swimmingly as we took out the hero's policemen. Opening the back of the truck and pulled out the strapped down Yakuza boss. Tomura dug through Overhaul's jacket and pulled out the finished bullets.

"Are you here to kill me?" Overhaul asked hopelessly.

"No, I came here to do something worse," Tomura laughed as he closed the tine of bullets.

Before anyone could react I made my way over to the poor man and knelt down to his level.

"What do you want?" Overhaul asked weakly.

"Moeru! What are you doing?!" Tomura growled.

"I can save you from this, I can save your work. Don't you want that?" I asked gently.
