The Night We Talk About Forever

Lisa cradles the chipmunk on her lap. They are currently sitting on the hood of Lisa's dark Royce and the hotelier couldn't help but to learn forward every few seconds to snuggle her nose against the soft, pink hair.

The kid herself doesn't fuss. These few days, she has been quieter and clingy causing Lisa to be absent from her office for a couple of days, something the hotelier would never do in the past when she was dating the usual version of her hot girlfriend, Roseanne Park - the doctor.

"Are you cold yet?"

Lisa asks sweetly as she wraps both of her arms around the fat chipmunk. The kid shakes her head, her eyes cling to the vast skies beneath them where glittering stars shine brightly. "Lili, what star is that?"

The chipmunk asks and Lisa looks to view. She doesn't speak star language but she knows exactly what the chubby finger points at.

Two brightest stars in the dark skies.

"They are called" Lisa pauses as she kisses Roseanne's cheek lovingly. "Sirius and Canopus"

"Weird names" she giggles and Lisa can't explain in words how much crazily in love she is with that sound.

"Do you wanna hear a story"?

Lisa asks lovingly and the child nods, left ear against Lisa's chest; probably eavesdropping her heartbeat.

"Once upon a time, it was said that Canopus was so sad that the star decided to occupy the southern skies. And because Sirius loved her sibling very much, she decided to follow the other star, promising to stay close untill the end of time"

Lisa pauses as she grins. "And do you know how similar that story is to us?"

"What?" Roseanne asks childishly.

"Well, it simply means that you are my Canopus and I am your Sirius, jagi. Wherever you go, no matter where, I would always make sure to follow no matter what"

The kid looks at Lisa for a moment before smiling.

"You wuv me a lot, Lili?"

"Of course" the hotelier nods. "For you, jagi. I would move the heaven and hell" she explains with a tint of soft laughter.

"I mean, you surely have taught me a lot. I never pictured myself with a kid, you know?"

She mumbles as she hugs Roseanne tighter.

"I always imagined myself to be just with you. Both of us. Going through up and down in life. But then when you came along, in this version" Lisa pauses as she smirks; "I start to learn how to take care of a kid and understanding their emotions. It was so hard, jagi. And still is. But I don't want to give up. You have gave me so much to remember, so much to learn, and I'm willing; someday when you're all back like normal; I'd want to marry you. And have a family. The one belongs to us"

Roseanne looks at Lisa.

Her small brain is probably stuck having to decipher such big information that Lisa has just revealed.

"Hey" Lisa chuckles. "You there, chipmunk?"

"I'm hungwy"

She blinks, tapping her fat belly. "Can we eat?"

Lisa laughs contently. "Of course, my love. Of course" she sighs with a pretty smile as she slides down her car and kisses her miniature girlfriend again.

But something draws Lisa's attention.

She quickly points at the dark skies where there's a shooting star passing.

"Oh my God, jagi. Let's make a wish"

"Lili, wishing star is stupid"

"No it's not. Come on. Wish something"

Lisa laughs as she squeezes her eyes and mumbling something under her breath.

But Roseanne probably irritates by the request, she makes her wish public and as loud as people can hear her from at least a mile away.

"I WISH LILI WILL GIVE ME A GIANT MILKSHAKE AND FRIES FOR DINNER. AND OH, I WISH LILI WOULD STOP MAKING ME BATH WITH MR. DUCKY BECAUSE I HATE HIM. AMEN"

Lisa laughs soon after that. She picks her girlfriend and puts her back in her car seat.

"Why do I feel like you're getting all your wishes come true, jagi?"

"Because you heard me" the kid rolls her eyes. "Magic doesn't exist, Lili. Science does"

"Rosie, you're talking like your old self back" Lisa giggles. "I miss that"

"Come on" the kid whines. "Let's go eat"

"Yeah" Lisa nods. "Let's go eat something, Rosie"

Walking down the street aimlessly after their dinner at nearby eatery, Roseanne laughs as Lisa pauses in her steps, and tosses the chubby chipmunk in the air.

"Lili, no. I'm scared"

"Don't be" Lisa says between the laughter. "I'll be here to catch you"

"Always?"

"Always"

"Chipmunk"

Lisa calls and the little baby walks in with her chubby feet.

"Come sleep"

She says as she spots her girlfriend.

Roseanne nods as she climbs up the bed and on her girlfriend.

"I have a happy day" she exclaims and Lisa nods.

"Me too"

"Will you forget me, Lili?"

The kid asks innocently after a moment and Lisa stares at the chubby face.

"What do you mean? Of course not. I love you so much"

Roseanne plays with Lisa's hair before meeting the Thai's eyes.

"I wuv you too"

"I'll never forget you if that's what you're wondering" Lisa explains. "Because forgetting you would be as if I'm forgetting myself. And I can't forget myself, can I?"
