i woke up on the sofa, somewhat only in my bra and underwear i sat up and Simon noticed and walked over to me and lifted up my legs and put them on his lap "so amani, you told me that you had sex with kate right" "i don't know, i don't listen to the things i say" he rolled his eyes "well you did" "okay.." "so Kate called this morning and she said she wanted to apologize" "for what" "i don't know she wouldn't tell me" "oh.." "yeah, so i thought maybe you would know" "i actually dont" i got up and walked upstairs
i was looking in my closet for clothes figuring out what i was gonna wear I finally chose something

"hey, im going to kates to see what's up" he looks at me weirdly "no im not gonna...do it with her again" he waved at me he was making a sandwich on the counter i moved his sandwich over while he was making it "hey!" he said disappointedly i moved him a little and hopped on the counter in front of him "you okay" i said as i started playing with his hair as he was in front of me "yeah, why wouldn't i be" "I don't know, you seem kinda down" "why would i be feeling down amani" he grabbed my wrists kinda mad as he walked over back to his sandwich "well that was pretty bitchy" i said hopping off the counter "are you going to see kate or not" "yeah..." as im walking to the door i whisper loudly on purpose so he could hear "jerk.." "what" he said turning around instantly "love you hottie" i blew a kiss then walked out the door
as I arrived to Kates house all i could think about was simon, i was worried about him, he's never down like he was, whenever im about to leave me always kisses me before i leave but he didn't even bother kissing my forehead or cheek
'maybe he's just having a bad day' i thought to myself
i knocked on kates door and she opened it holding a cookie "heyyy" i said entering myself in her house "HEY" she said kinda loud "what's up, why'd you call simon this morning" "just cause i needed to talk to you" she grabbed my hand and took me to her room

"so, amani, would you get mad if i told you that I think i might be into girls and boys" "why would i get mad kate" "cause after we...did things the other night I felt like girl sex was better than boy sex" "oh" i said looking down "THE POINT IS...i think i like you amani" "oh shit" i say awkwardly "but it's fine, I know your with simon and I don't wanna date you, but i was just holding it in for a while and couldn't take it anymore, so i told simon and he just hung up "oh, that's why he was so pissed at me the is morning" "wait what" Kate said looking back up at me "yeah he was acting kinda bitchy to me" "oh...sorry" "it's not your fault, but yeah kate, I love you and i think your hot as fuck, but, i love simon, and i want him kate" "yeah...yeah I know" she said as her voice cracks "yeah, im sorry" "no no, it's fine i understand" she smiles "okay" i smile then laid my lips VERY softly on hers just one little kiss that she kissed back on. like a peck but 3 seconds longer "I'll see you later" i smile then walk out her room

yeah, no it's not fine. me and amani were best friends, but that night was something different. but im not gonna do anything about it.
she loves simon, and im her best friend so.. I should be happy for her. i love her and just have to accept that she's with simon.

i got back to simons house and walked in and just saw him sitting on the stool writing in his dairy i worry when i see him writing in it only cause im not allowed to read it "hey" i say putting my stuff down he closes his dairy then looks at me he smiles then starts writing again "watcha writing" i say sitting next to him "nothing" he closes it then looks at me "so what happened with kate" he said like we did IT again "so.. i got there and she took me up to..her room" he looked down and started fidgeting with his rings i didn't wanna hurt him or anything so i just told him a lie "she just said that she was sorry, cause she doesn't want you thinking that she's gonna steal me away from you, and even if she was i wouldn't let her, and she said she doesn't want to get in between our relationship and everything so, yeah, that's all she said" he just kept looking down and wouldn't lift his head up i put my finger on his chin to lift up his head and he finally looked at me "i love you simon and I don't want you thinking that just cause i did it with kate that means i don't love you, your my whole world and I never wanna lose you" he smiled then leaned in and kissed me I smiled through the kiss "I love you too" he smiled i smiled then kissed him again "wanna go upstairs and watch a movie" he smirked "JUST a movie" "fineee" he got up and grabbed my hand and we went upstairs he flopped on my bed then i scooted up next to him then he put an arm around me and played with my rings on the other hand "love you my princess" he whispered in my ear I kissed his neck "love you too" I whispered back
