y/n and richard know each other since middle school, through out high school richard starts to get into the wrong crowd

"both of you stop yelling porfavor!!" our mom yells, i sigh and get out of my bed and head into my brothers room
"que queres animal gordo" i insult him
"bro i'm your older brother respect me" he says

"what'd you called me for?"
"i'm going to a party later, my friend invited me it's at his cousins house"
"okay and?"
"and delmi is going too but she doesn't know half the people there since she doesn't talk to anyone"
delmi is our cousin by the way same age as werner
"there's more people there tho"
"yeah but you know how she is, c'mon let's go"
"fine, what time is it?"
"it starts in two hours so start getting ready"
"what are we gonna tell mami?"
"that we're going out to eat with delmi"
"okay but we have to come back early we have to go pick up dad from the airport"
"what time?"
"his plane gets here at 7 in the morning so we gotta get up at 6"

so my dad went to argentina to see his mom she's very sick, werner and i couldn't go because school is almost over so they didn't let us go, my mom couldn't go either because of work so only my dad went back
werner and i are mixed, our dad is from argentina and our mom is from spain they met in miami they got married eventually and moved here to New York leaving the majority of our family in miami
"you're ready?" werner asks as he leans on my wall

werner and i went to pick delmi up and his friend the one that invited him to the party is already over there
we arrive at the place and it looks familiar, werner parks and we get out of the car and head to the party
"hey so what happened between you and richard?" delmi quietly asks me so that werner doesn't hear us
"the douchebag left me again for another girl"
"omg y/n i'm sorry honey but i kind of saw it coming but i didn't know how to tell you since you really liked this guy, do you still like him?"
"i mean yeah i do but i also hate him"
"good don't let him get to you make him see that his absence isn't affecting you, you're a bad bitch" delmi says and we start laughing we then enter the house and we see werner with his friend nelson the one that invited us
"hey delmi"
"hey nelson"
he then looks at me
"hey y/n haven't seen you in a while, how are you?" he asks as he hugs me
"hey nelson i'm doing great,how about you?"
"same, do you guys want anything to drink?"
"you have coronas?" werner asks
"ya tu sabe loco" nelson says
"traeme una" werner says
"me too please" delmi says
"okay so two coronas, how about you y/n?"
"i'll just get a water"
"okay i'll be back" nelson then disappears into the crowd
downtown by jbalvin and anita starts playing
"this is my song let's go dance!!!" delmi says and drags me to the dance floor
we started dancing and started swaying our hips along to the beat, i lost delmi in the crowd but i really liked the song so i continued dancing
i then feel two hands on my hips and their chest on my back, i didn't bother to look til they whispered in my ear
"i never knew you could dance like this, i really missed out on a lot, huh?"
