Kitten (lana)

Your POV:

Lana and I are driving home when we see a small kitten in a box on the side of the road "Lana pull over!" She immediately steps on the brakes and looks at me confused. I jump out of the car and run to the small kitten. It's brown and white with blue eyes. Lana comes up behind me "aww you poor thing" I look up at Lana with my best pout. "Sweetheart..." I bat my eyelashes. "Please" she cups my cheek "pretty please...mommy" she sighs and shuts her eyes "fine" I squeal and hop a bit making Lana chuckle "thank you thank you thank you!" I place a tender kiss on her lips then bend down to pick up the small kitten.

During the drive home the small cat is asleep on my lap. I look over and catch Lana staring at me. I grab her hand and kiss it "thank you" she smiles her eyes still focused on the road. She turns to look at me "anything for you" I smile and look down at the kitten. Once we arrive home I carefully scoop the kitten in my arms and walk to the door. Lana unlocks it and holds the door open for me. I set the small kitten down on the couch and watch as it paws at the soft cushions. Lana comes up behind me and wraps her arms around my waist.

"You're too sweet for your own good" she kisses my head "but that's why I fell in love with you. You have a heart of gold" we both watch the kitten curl up and fall asleep. "Can we get it food and a bed." Lana nods her head "we can go right now" I look up at her with loving eyes "really?" she cups my cheek. "Come on" Lana and I go to the pet store and pick up some toys, cat food, a bed and some other stuff we thought we would need.

Once we get home Lana unloads the stuff we bought on the counter while I scoop up the still sleeping kitten. Lana smiles at me "what?" "You look adorable with a kitten in your arms" I blush and shake my head. Lana fills the sink with warm water and I place the kitten into it. The water stops just below its chest. It meows and tries to get out but I hold it while Lana lathers it up with soap and rinses it clean. Lana holds a towel and I gently place the small cat in her arms. Now it's my turn to admire the way she speaks so gently to the small kitten while she dries it.

"It's okay baby, your safe now" Lana says in a baby voice. I smile and kiss her cheek. "Now who's adorable?" Lana grins and kisses my head. Once the kitten is dried she hands it back over to me and takes out the small collar we bought. Lana places it on the kitten then grabs the little bowl and rinses it out before filling it up with water and kitten food. She places the bowl down on the floor and grabs the kitten from my arms and places it on the floor.

The kitten smells around before beginning to eat and drink. While it's eating Lana takes the cat bed and places it in our bedroom. Once she's finished I wrap my arms around her neck while hers wrap around my waist. "Thank you mommy" Lana smirks and pulls me closer "you're welcome baby" I kiss her lips and before things can get any more heated Lana pulls away and looks at her feet. The kitten is purring and rubbing itself against her ankles. She laughs and picks it up.

"So what do we name it?" "Is it a boy or a girl?" Lana lifts the kitten "I thinks it's a boy" I smile "Theo" Lana giggles "okay Theo it's this is your new home and we're going to be your mommies" I slip my arm around her waist and kiss her cheek. "I love you" Lana leans her forehead against mine "I love you more"
