Kaze didn't know where he was.
Well, he knew where he was supposed to be.
Where he was SUPPOSED to be was in bed. His beautiful, nice, comfy bed. Fast asleep in his countless dreams. His favorite place on the whole god damn planet.
But nope. Instead, he is in one of his LEAST favorite places. A place where if he could, he would avoid at all possible.
The grand Lotus castle. He decided he must be crazy. Why would he be here of all places/ He knew damn well he was no sleepwalker, and even so, he couldn't make it on foot to this castle in the middle of the night. And if he did that would be a whole new level of impressive.
His back was killing him. And his head was spinning a mile a minute. He felt like he just woke up from a ten thousand year nap. It was hard to move and honest Kaze just wished he could go back to sleep and wake up back in his nice bed.
But this was real. No dream. He could feel it in his aches and sores. He could feel the sour of the sun against his eyes and the sweat accumulating in his shirt. And he felt the frustration burn inside him as he ponders what the absolute fuck was going on.
He couldn't stand the heat anymore. It was gonna drive him absolutely crazy. He would go inside, find his sister, figure out what the fuck happened and head back to the clan all in the next hour or he was gonna lose it. He swore if that damn royal shit had anything to do with it, he was gonna strangle that man on a stick, yuka's boyfriend or not.
It didn't take long to figure out he was in the eat quarter gardens, surrounded by all these extravagant plants that could only be found here. He felt heavier on his feet than usual, and his joints were rough. Had he come down with a fever? Is this why he forgot why he was even at the castle? Why would he even be here when he was sick? The clan members would never let him out in this state. Much less to come all the way to the castle.
He stormed through the hallways as quickly as he could, trying to remember the layout of the castle from his last visit here. Damn royals, changing the decor every six seconds. He could have sworn all these halls had red carpets, now they are white? They always got make things way more complicated for him.
His first thought was to maybe look for Rex. He would probably know where Sayuri is. He knows this place far better. But finding Rex would be an equally challenging feat. He also didn't want Rex freaking out over seeing him sick, since it was totally something he would do. So for now he would look for any sense of recognition. And if he didn't, he'd get the hell out of here and figure it out later.
Right when the frustration was breaking the brim, kaze's chest collided with something in a quick stride. As if his head wasn't killing him enough. Anger fumed as he really did not have the patience for whoever had the damn nerve to collide into him right now. Usually, he might be able to brush it off, but today was not the day for that.
"Oi! Oi!" The stranger hissed in a rhythmic sound of pain, clicking his tongue against his mouth.
When Kaze look up to scream, he was face to face with a scalp.
The man towered over, grabbing his head and biting his lip. His fingers intertwined with the long strands of his hair as he grasped it. Looks like the guy took more of a hit then Kaze did, but it didn't get rid of Kaze's frustration in regards to it.
"I'm so sorry." The guy told him. "I wasn't looking where I was going. I'm looking for" The guy's words were cut short when he looked up to finally face Kaze.
