Alan's Pov:

"So, Mr. Barker...." Zach started with a smirk
"Zach before you start am telling you, it's nothing like that, wipe that smirk off your face now, if you want to live"- Alan grumbled

They had come back from school and were hanging around at Alan's place and Zach had decided that Alan and Scarlett are totally on the best track ever.

"Guys, can we just chill back? You all are hyping up"- Robert sighed.

"Oh and Mr. McCall, you were pretty good with Chloe out there, how's the pizza cooking?"- Zach

"You are dead."- Robert shouted and ran behind him

Alan was fed up of it.

"GUYS CAN U TWO SHUT UP? AND ZACH STOP WITH YOUR HALL-" Alan was interrupted by his phone buzzing

Incoming: Scarlett

Shoot, Alan thought.

"Oops, Robert let's be good boys and leave him and his uhm phone alone"- Zach snickered and took Robert out of the room.

"These bloody idiots"- Alan grumbled to himself and then picked up the call

"Hey! Took you some good time to pick it up"- Scarlett sounded excited

"Ah yeah, just those two were being stupid"- Alan
"Oh I see, well not surprise, it's the same case with Marie and Chloe here, Marie especially...."- Scarlett giggled quietly

Alan liked the giggle, he smiled to himself.

"Alan, you there?"
"Yeah yeah I am there, so you called me"
"Oh about that....can we meet right now Alan?"

Alan checked the clock- 7:45pm

"uhm right now Scar?"
"yeah right now"

Alan was a bit confused but then he thought it was better than being teased by Zach all evening.

"Alright am down, where to?"
"The town park, if that's okay with you"
"Sure, I'll be there in 20mins"
"Done, so meet you there"

Alan ended the call and went down the stairs, he was half hoping that he would not meet Zach and Robert, but well....Robert was just beside the door

"Going somewhere mate?"- Robert asked
"Yeah actually, well actually I got some work- uh, you know, I'll be back by 9:30 I hope, and well" gods, why was he stuttering so much, Alan thought

"It's Scarlett, isn't it?"- Robert
"Well yes"- Alan

"Don't worry, Zach ain't knowing about it"- Robert gave a reassuring smile
"Thanks man"- Alan gave a relieved sigh
"Now get going, he ain't gonna take any more time in the washroom"- Robert laughed and gave a gentle push
Alan nodded but was held back by Robert
"Also, just let Scarlett know well.....tell Chloe that extra chicken and cheese is more of my taste"- Robert shrugged
"uh okay" then changing his tone into a more confident voice" you got it dude"

Alan got his cycle and started.

7:55pm

Alan saw Scarlett looking at the huge tree in the centre of the park, and well he saw small bulbs wrapped around the tree, it was looking beautiful.

He parked his cycle in the lot and went up to Scarlett quietly.

"It's beautiful" he sighed

Scarlett turned around, and she was looking beautiful. She was just wearing a plain blue jeans and a plain white dress with a blue denim jacket on.
