Chapter 6: Back to the Hot Spot. Yukari's Confession

Y/N POV

I laid Yukari down on my bed, then walked to my backpack and packed up some stuff

Yukari:"Oii, where are you goiiiing~?" Asked the drunk lady

Y/N:"I just need to see something-"

Yukari:"It's really dangerous for you to go out at this hour, you know?..you can get hurt..."

I chuckled a bit

Y/N:"Maybe you're right, i can't really risk it either" That's what i said while finishing packing up

Yukari:"Come here, i'm cold" She opened her arms and smiled

I knew she was still drunk, but now i'd have my cautions and not be surprised next time

Y/N:"Alright alright"

After finally finishing, i closed the backpack and walked to the bed, laying over it as Yukari gently wrapped her arms around me

Yukari:"Sleep tight~" She hugged me tighter, adding to her words

Y/N:"You too"

She slowly drifted to sleep as i waited for so, seeing her until nothing but a cute, peaceful breathing was heard

Y/N: Now

I got up with being careful to not wake her up and grabbed the backpack, heading out the room where i gave the sleeping blonde a last stare

Y/N:"*whispering* sleep well, i'll be back by morning"

The door fully closed after that. I headed out of the house and to the street, going with a coat over me since the night was hella cold. Some time after getting to some distance of the house i took and opened a map

Y/N:"I can't pretty much understand this...i'd need to ask someone" Isn't it ironic how i don't know my own hometown?

Walking down the street, i remembered Yukari's advice of being careful, now having a better decision to do so as she said it. Through the way i saw some shops open, which wasn't so strange as many tend to stay open throughout the night

Y/N: Well...nothing out of the ordinary...

My thoughts were almost blank as the street was completely empty, not leaving me any excuse to think up anything-

???:"Look out!" Exclaimed a girl as i bumped into her, making us both fall to the ground

Y/N:"Oh whoops, sorry about that-"

Looking at her better, i was able to identify one of my friends: Renko

Renko:"Y/N?"

Y/N:"Renko?"

Both:"What are you doing here?" We said in unison

Renko:"I was just taking a midnight walk...don't tell my sis nor Merry about this...what about you anyways?" She was confused on my sudden appearance during nighttime too

Y/N:"I wont lie, i was going to the hot spot we found some time before"

Renko looked at the sky, then pointed at the opposite direction i was walking at

Renko:"It's over there"

I opened my map, seeing that she was right

Y/N:"Right...thanks Renko..."

Before i could take my leave, she grabbed my shoulder and walked infront of me

Renko:"I'm going with you"
