"One of the saying goes, 'A feelings of someone can be a feeling of others.' This is also one part during the war" John said.

--January 2, 1942, John's Perspective--

I went out of bed at 6:50 in the morning, I grab a cereal bowl, milk and cereals to prepare my breakfast, and then after eating, a soldier points a rifle to me, he then said "Go out!".

I immediately went out and he ask me to go to their armored personal carrier, but I ran the opposite way to a open field. Then rifles fired towards me, and I was lucky to stumble Chloe Santos, she saved me and said to go to the house.

Then after I went inside I met Hermia, and soon after I heard a gunshot above the house. Then I looked outside a soldier fell.

And then the 2 other soldiers started to fire at the house, then it stopped. Chloe Santos ran towards ours and then bullets sprayed on the house. We duck to cover. She said, "Do you have a place to the rooftops?" Hermia said that there was a window on the second floor to leap out of.

Chloe ran there and the firing stops, and as soon as we stood up, another spray of bullets firing at us, and I told Hermia if there's a back door and she said yes. We went out of Hermia's home via the back door, Chloe Santos and Huey Cruz leaps from the roof and they asked us to go to a nearby park.

--Some time later--

We reached the park without anybody notices them

"Well, you two are safe... for now, but you can go back to home about 2 hours later." Chloe said to us, "Well, see you in the future!"

--Back to 1950--

"After that I lived in Hermia's home for a while, and eat together, newspapers are delivered under the door, and some parts are saying no going outside from 8pm to 8am." John said.

"Oh, I'm curious. When did you learn the Personal Blend?" Huey asked John"

"Ah De Ocampo Cafe opened in 1946, well it was still about 4 years old, but the recipe itself was dated during the war. Ahh I first try Hermia's coffee, and she taught me how to do that, and still that blend is still the blend I use today, but the addition of the very secret formula is added when Hermia accidentally added strawberry juice to my coffee, well I taste it and it was great, and that's another specialty I served: Lovely blend. So I tried my way of Coffee which I added my own amount of strawberry juice and a bit of chocolate, and there's the Personal Blend" John answered

"Seems fairly easy to recrea-" Huey again asked but interrupted by John

"Nope, I use the finest kind of strawberries, and one type of chocolate which is very hard to get. But I managed to recreate that recipe. So if you find that kind of chocolate, maybe it cost you about 100 Pesos, luckily Hermia have 2 bars of it then, and theres the time I experiment some choco tastes."

"And yet you sell them for about- 50 pesos, aren't you getting that enough money?" Huey then again curiously asked.

"They tip me... sometimes with 20 Pesos and sometimes double the price of the Personal Blend" John said. "They really like it"

And then after they asked about that, they ate dinner. After eating, John told another story for them.
