Chapter 8: Help

Charlie was trying not to panic at the moment. She of course had every reason to. She isn't able to transform, she isn't able to use her powers correctly due it being suppressed for to long. This it to frustrating for her AND Mephisto. He didn't know why, but for some reason he felt bad for the girl. Despite only knowing each other for a few days, he grew... well, attached. And he isn't sure if he likes it or not. If his sister if going to find out, she propably is gonna smack him after hugging him and telling how much she missed him.

"This is pointless! I can't transform, mu magic is as good as useless, my friends are in danger and I can't do anything to stop Miranda and Katrina!" Charlie said frustrated. And the fact that she knows that it was all Praxina her doing frustrates her even more. She never fought in battle before, and she sure as hell doesn't even know of how strong Praxina actually is, but hearing the story from her friends and Mephisto, Praxina tends to be extremely strong. Especially now that she is angered and blinded by her grief. 

Mephisto then started to think of something. Yeah, it might be stupid but now that Gramorr is gone and while he is still alive, he has nothing to fear anymore. He can now do whatever he wants to do in life. Then he said something that shocked Charlie. And he would be lying if he said that it didn't shock him as well.

"Should i train you for a bit? I think i am healed enough to use my magic now" he said. He doesn't know why, he could have escaped a few hours back once he realized but for some reason he didn't. Damn, he really is attached to this woman. Even though she knew that he was evil, she didn't bother telling her friends.

Charlie looked at him right when he said that. She was thinking about it. It could work, but she is wondering if he had a nasty trick on his sleeve that could harm her, or possibly kill her. Is it even worth the risk? Guess she is about to find out!

"That would be wonderful. But keep in mind that we don't have so much time, so it would be wonderful if you can teach me while we are running to the park that is now it seems on fricking fire!" Charlie said pointing at the TV. Mephisto saw it as well and didn't have to be told twice. They got running, faster then they ever did in their entire lives.

Charlie listened carefully to what he was saying and she somewhat finally knew again of what she is supposed to do. She still isn't able to transform though. But she hopes that it would happen soon. Otherwise her powers wouldn't be as strong then they normally should be. Both could smell the fire already. Time for a reunion and a huge fight

Raquelle and Quinn are hiding in their house, this so not what they expected. Quinn knew that there was going to be a battle eventually due he had someone magical in his house, but he didn't expected it to be so soon. And the fact that he knows that Charlie supressed her magic for to long didn't made him calm down either. What if her magic gets out of the control and that she dies in the process? That would be the biggest grief that he is going to have his entire life. He will never recover from it at all.

"Dad, she is going to be ok! We know her long enough, Charlie is a strong woman, she is gonna be alright! I am sure of it!" Raquelle said to him while laying a hand on his shoulder. Even though Quinn knew that, he was still worried. He saw Charlie as his own child. He loved her very much. If she dies, part of him will die as well.

"I know Sweetheart i know. But this worry that i have keeps telling me otherwise. Charlie barely ever as not never used her magic at all! And now that this crap is all starting, i am not sure that she is going to survive!" He said with obvious worry. Raquelle sighed and then spoke up:

"With the help of her friends, i am sure that she beat those villians! You have to have faith in them dad! If you have faith that she can do it then everything is possible! Believe me, they ate going to win this fight. Just you wait" 

Raquelle always does this, saying to have faith in others and to have faith in yourself as well. It always worked for her so it is also going to work on the others. She hopes that is. If she could help her sister/best friend in anyway she could. But for now she is just gonna have hope. And that is all what matters.

Quinn then finally managed to calm down and started to listen to his daughter. Calming down is the best thing to do when there is a problem, as his friends like to put it. It is rime that he finally starts to listen to them and start to take their advice. Quinn usually doesn't always wanna listen to the others around him, but he thinks that it is now time to change that. 

Right his friends, he hopes to the whatever is up there, that they are ok. The last thing that he needs is one of his loved ones dying. 

'Stop it Quinn, don't think like that! They are fine! Just have faith! That is all what you need to do!' He thought. 

That you are an adult doesn't mean that you cannot cry or show emotion. Quinn has learned that when he was in his early twenties. He didn't really have a good life. At the moment that he was born his parents pretty much abandoned him and was found and raised by some thugs. He was taught not to show emotion at all, he actually believed that. But now he knows better. Showing emotion is what makes everyone human. And that is the only thing that matters now. Being human.
