Kyojuro's POV

You are driving to 5Guys still mad and not uttering a word the only sound that could be heard was the song Could've been by Her passing on the radio.

"So..." feeling uncomfortable Giyu starts the conversation. "What's going on with you and Y/n?"
I almost broke is neck when I heard the question of my Best friend "Look at the road- damn we almost got an accident. I didn't thought there were something but by judging your reaction something happened."
"Smart ass." I retorted "I'm not being smart everyone would thought the same if they saw your reaction." he nuanced. "You have thing for her,huh but you restrain yourself because she's your brother bestie, you see her growing up."
My eyes widened."Are you my therapist ?" I asked uneasy about how well Giyu knows me. "I'm your best friend, we know each other for 20 years now. I read you like an open book, you can't hide anything from me." Giyu confessed in a soft voice. "Now, what's going on ?" He's voice went deep in a matter of seconds. When this happens I am literally shitting my pants. I looked straightforward the road feeling uneasy with his stares "So what you said was true and there is really something that is happening between me and Y/n... Well there was." I whispered the last part. Giyu just hummed to let me continue. "Well remember last Saturday..." "You hook up with her." "Yeah I... wait how do you know." Giyu giggled "Not gonna lie that was pretty obvious. I think everyone suspected it." I felt my blood starting to boil. Does that mean that Tengen asked her on a date even knowing that. Shit. I'm going to beat his little boy ass. "Kyo...Kyojuro...Earth to Rengoku fucking Kyojuro." You heard Giyu screamed "You're dozing off again. Man, it can't continue like this if you like the girl go for the girl." I stopped the car in the parking lot of 5Guys, lowered my head and sighed. "And what if she doesn't like me." Giyu looked at me with a face I couldn't described. "Man, are you on drug? She obviously likes you, you dumb fuck. She kissed you back last time." "Yes and... do you not remember that we were all high. She could have just thought I was Tengen." I clasped the wheel firmly. "Nah, I'm done with you stupid oblivious ass." Giyu opened the car door and went in the restaurant. I sighed again and followed him.

In the queue, Giyu did not adress me a word, the atmosphere was really tensed. We order our food like that and made our way to a table. I couldn't hold anymore. "Are you for real not talk to me for the rest of your life." "I'm done with stupid people. It's 2021 I have to take care of myself and YOU are not helping." He nuanced, point at me and continued. "Dude, I know you don't like to impose your point of view of people and everything that's why you relationship never worked out and now you just hook up. But I know you not happy that way. For once in your life try something, make a move. What is the worst that could happened? Being rejected, yes but you know that Y/n will not make you uncomfortable. She will still be the same to you." He said with a tender voice. "You right. I'm going to go out of my ways for once and take back what is mine." "Oh there, already possessive that's new." Giyu laughed.

We finished our food and made our ways back to my house.
I was so relieved and excited to talk and apologize to y/n. "Yo Sen, where are y'all?" "What do you mean where are y'all? Y/n left 30minutes ago. Do you think that coming back like this would make everything up if she was there. I love you bro but this time you've going to far." He responded. The smile that was plastered on my face faded away in a second. Giyu looked at me with small eyes. Even if Giyu was mad at my stubbornness he was still on my side and tried to find way out of this but Senjuro was the more "realistic" side and put me back in place. But this time I'm not going to loose hope that fast. I'm going to fight for what I want. "Don't loose hope." Giyu said tapping on my shoulder. I looked at him, put a smile on and said. "Of course not."
